    Three years after the video posting, the Shimano website still lists the Tiagra 50W LRS reels having a higher drag strength than the 50W. Why not incorporate the higher drag model into the line and just sell the 50, and 50W LRS reel?
    And in other oddities in the Shimano Tiegra series reels, the Tiagra 16 has more listed drag than the Tiagra 20 does by 2kg.
    I own both Shimano Tiagra's and Penn International's. While the Tiagra is silky smooth, that comes at a cost of hundreds of very small parts internally. The International reels can be serviced on the boat if required..

    You might want to tell shimano to fix their website. They show a lower max drag for the 50w compared to the lrsa. 26 vs 40lbs.

      Yes and they still have not changed it - confusing hundreds of people with the LRS system, including me 🤣

    Lol might wanna do some research 🧐 lrsa is definitely a 40 pound drag just like the 80 the old 50w it only 26
