Iv been eating Hakka Chinese for 20 years in Toronto, the classic was lin garden, frederics as well, though owners have changed over the years, and i feel the chili chicken is nothing like it used to be, you would order chili chicken in the past and have like 10 or more green chilis chopped up and the aroma alone would cause your mouth to tingle, now chili chicken is a thing of the past in retrospec. you can ask for very very very hot even still doesnt compare to the orgiginal Toronto hakka.

Fun fact , the real Hakka come from a region of china , where there is no Muslim and porc is the main source of méat.
