Vertical Circle ki jagah Upper plate bol diya h please samajhne ki kosis kare,
Theodolite में दो Circle होते हैं एक horizontal सर्किल होता है और दूसरा vertical सर्कल होता है, horizontal सर्किल से horizontal angle लिए जाते हैं और vertical सर्कल से vertical angle लिए जाते हैं यहां जो प्लेट की बात है वह थोड़ी mistake/ गलती हो गई है बताने में horizontal circle में ही दो प्लेट लगी होती है एक upper plate और एक lower plate. Upper plate में main scale लगा होता है और Lowe plate को Vernier scale लगा होता है

You called horizontal circle as lower plate and vertical circle as upper plate which is completely wrong.
Horizontal circle consists of two plates upper and lower plate graduated in vernier and Main scale. And their is a vertical circle which is used to find vertical angles. Vertical circle is also graduated in vernier and main scale.
