Even Knots Landing didn't have any prominent black actors until towards the end of its run

I wonder why Al Corley and Pamela Sue Martin quit so soon into the success of this show? They were more believable as siblings

Why don't they have shows like this anymore? It's all reality or game shows! What a shame. At least we were able to enjoy these shows.

When originally watching this show back in the day in England, I used to go weak at the knees for Fallon, Sammy Jo etc - now just watching this I'm appreciating how stunning Krystle (Linda Evans) was. Although we all have to age, it's a shame she ruined her looks with so much plastic surgery. Another top-notch piece of music by Bill Conti.

Season 2 intro was much better than season 1 with the trumpet playing the main melody. The shots of the cast also improved: Forsythe looks more elegant and confident sipping brandy by the fire, Corley ripping off his tie, and Joan Collins the femme fatale smoking with a quellazaire.
