Vor 60 Jahren in Parthenen mit dem VW Käfer, die Silvretta-Hochalpenstraße war nur in den Spitzkehren geteert und weitaus enger. Wenn der Bus entgegen kam, musste schon mal die Radkappe am Felsen streifen. :) Meine Mutter als Beifahrerin musste bergab mit der linken Hand immer den Schalthebel festhalten, weil der erste Gang dabei stets in den Leerlauf rausgesprungen ist. When the bus came the opposite way, the right hubcap had to touch the rock. :) My mother (driving shotgun) had to hold the gearshift lever with her left hand downhill because in that situation first gear always jumped out into neutral. A stunning mountain drive, together with Großglockner and Timmelsjoch one of the best in Austria. Also one of the few high mountain roads of the country where I haven't been, was very interesting to see how it looks, hope to do it next summer. Thanks a lot for sharing such beautiful drives, greetings from a fellow roadtripper and creator from Germany!
I've never traveled in Austria West of Nauders, but these two wonderful videos (12-13) convinced me to plan a vacation there. I wish you a Happy and Excellent New Year!
Hermoso paisajes!! Es igual al sur de Argentina por las cordilleras yendo de bariloche para el bolson( Provincia de Río Negro) y para lago Puelo ( Provincia de Chubut ) todo por la cordillera !! Patagonica!! Sigui subiendo videos así me emociona , yo lo uso poniendo la bicicleta fija y lo pongo en TV 😍😍
