Can you post a new video on study tips
but why were they looking for new lands
might've beeenn too keep up with the other powers in europe and also under this economic theory of mercantilism thaat colonies basically exist to enrich the mother country. however basic people migrated because of a lot of things, some for religious reasons likee separatists, and others foor economic reasons like there's more opportunity to get rich, there's more land, and there was economic depression and also laws which prevented non elders childrenn to inherit the father's estate, basically downgrading their chance for success in society. so nobody liked any of this and america seemed like the perfect place and solution
They felt the need to tear down Spain; it was the British who pursued the "black legend" of the Spanish Inquisition and the Spanish Conquest of the New World; they were lying through their teeth in false propaganda. Part of that was that the average Brit was himself devoutly Catholic, but the government was Protestant.
