Moa “Cazzi Opeia” Carlebecker är en svensk artist, låtskrivare och vokalproducent som vid tidig ålder började skriva egen musik. Hon blev utslagen under kvalveckan i Idol 2009 men fick sedan skivkontrakt. Hennes debutsingel "I Belong To You" från 2010 blev en hit när den nederländske världsstjärnan DJ Tiësto tog med en remix av låten på ett av sina album. Hon hyllades också tidigt av den amerikanske kändisbloggaren Perez Hilton.
Sedan dess har Cazzi Opeia blivit en efterfrågad låtskrivare inom K-pop, vilket har resulterat i många förstaplaceringar på Billboard-listorna och samarbeten med stjärnor som BTS, Red Velvet, NCT 127 och Enhypen. Som låtskrivare har hon sålt mer än 20 miljoner fysiska album, strömmats över 4 miljarder gånger och har mer än 1,5 miljarder visningar på CZcams.
Hon vann priset för Årets internationella framgång 2021 vid Musikförläggarnas prisgala. Tillsammans med Ellen Berg i låtskrivarduon Sunshine har hon tilldelats den svenska regeringens hedersomnämnande för insatser av särskild betydelse för svensk musiks internationalisering. - Zábava

She has charisma, she is unusual and she can write catchy songs. Very good performance.
She has co-written a lot of you guys favorite kpop songs, songs like red velvet´s pshyco and queendom and also enhypen´s given-taken and fever. Also some of bts songs. She is amazing! Really talented!

It's mind-boggling how well she sings on stage, hitting notes fantastically perfect. The notes themselves harmonize so well with the song, the beat is a bop especially the rhythmical cello. Excellent performance. I love it.

This is fantastic. Eurovision songs can sometimes be too simple, but this is an excellent written song. I think both musicians and everyone else can appreciate these creative and memorable hooks. Hope Sweden chooses this song and wins! - and I’m Norwegian
And not too mention the effortlessness and joy she exhibits in her performance. She believes in her self and her ability as a musician, and she has great reason to do so, seeing as she has a rear talent for this.
It's well written because shes a real song writer, has written songs for big k-pop groups like BTS, Red velvet, Twice and more

@Solid Works Eric Saade, den bästa artisten i Mello 2011 enligt mig, fick flest röster av alla i sin deltävling när han deltog det året, och tog sig direkt vidare.
Så visst går dom som är bra vidare direkt också. Ibland.

@@MollsBolls She deserved to go to the finals, the fact that she came only in forth place is weird in my opinion. Somehow others voted more for Faith and Lisa Miskovsky instead but they are a bit too boring for my taste.
@@askafroan525 Totally agree. This is my first time actually following the melodifestivalen and I'm incredibly impressed by the quality of pretty much all the candidates. I like some more than others (Cazzi Opeia is one of my favorite songs) , but I don't feel confortable saying there's a bad song among the 28 songs entering the contest.

This is a very good example why those second chance shows make sense to me. I didn't like this at the beginning but I've been enjoying it a lot lately.
When I watched the heat, I was late into the living room making snacks and heard just the music and it instantly popped out as finale material when the baseline hit
Theres no second chance at Eurovision tho, so if people doesnt like it at the first listen it wont get any votes...

Loved her song and performance! This really feels like a new, fresh brand of Scandinavian pop - with a touch of K-pop elements that kinda remind of her main expertise. The special before the last refrain ("Life is so much, so much better...") is almost moving.
He has written many songs for K-pop bands. He even has written a BTS song called "We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal". This song is really really really good.

She didn't win Melodifestivalen, but she won the very first American Song Contest, as a songwriter.
She wrote Alexa's "Wonderland" together Albin Nordqvist, Bekuh Boom, Andreas Carlsson and Ellen Berg.

This song is growing on me the more i listen to it. I would not mind if this did go to Eurovision, but i don't see it happening. It is a problem when u need to listen more times to a song to decide if u like it or not.

Actually, nowadays it helps, as you can listen to the songs between the heats and the semifinals/finals. And it helps even more in Eurovision, as you have a full 2 months of exposure before the event in May. Songs that grow on you are better. My tip is Cornelia Jakobs for the win, but this one is a dark horse. As long as we do not send “generic good looking young male singer with bland pop song”, we should be good… 😉

This was surprisingly fun! I hadn't heard much talk about this one, but it's something that simultaneously sounds both retro and contemporary. Maybe not a winner, but I enjoyed it.

No doubt the best song this year, both musically, lyrically and visually. Catchy and complex - enjoyable for everyone, same concept that made ABBA musical icons.
But I fear some standard, run of the mill, "lagom" song will win.

This is my favourite song of Melodifestivalen. On point vocals, and a catchy chorus. It's funny the songs that grab you. There are more serious, more impactful songs perhaps, but this gets under your skin and I want to replay.
