I'm a relative new main kata (280k points in plat) I still don't know when to use electrocute/conqueror or when should I play bork/rocketbelt/riftmaker :( any advice?
elec vs squishy team comps ex. ( lucian nami bot lane leblanc mid nidalee jg) and conq into more tank team comps that u cant 1 shot ex. nautalis supp galio mid sej top/jg or if they have like a revive champ such as zilean which can ruin ur resets. bork is good into kass/galio(prob not worth going vs other champs) rocketbelt is good with elec (1 or second item) but never first rocketbelt with conq (always rush nashors into rocketbelt or rush divine sunderer into nashors. Riftmaker is very situational imo i think rocketbelt/sunderer is better than riftmaker.

I always go ad at the start cause then your laning phase is a easy win if you can use your mobility right. So i go long sword with 3 pots.. If they have squishy comps i try to rush bork OR i go for a roam game and rush my magic pen boots.After bork i go divine and some ad items like "Death Dance" ect.
If they have a lot of tanks like ornn, skarner, Leona then i INSTANTLY rush Divine sunderer (and you will see with divine you can easily kill tanks). After divine i go nashors tooth and then build my ap stuff (zhonyas, banshees, whatever)
So i dont know if you can play ad kata but since last week im only going ad cause its much better in my opinion
(I only go Conqueror so longer fights in the lane and teamfights its full stacked and it heals with the divine sunderer)
(i also go for the movement speed rune so i can roam better)

Doesn't actually matter....I'm a Kat main with 1m mastery on platinum too, And in my experience it all depends on Ur team. If your team is bad, you will lose 99% no matter how feed you are. If team good you MAY win.... Just Katarina problems...
Hi i am so bad with like vlad fizz matchups they are using 1 skill and u cant hit him with your skills or otos how should i play with those matchups i am doing combos like q e w but they are countering it with 1 skill could u explain how should i play in lane tyty
in lane its really hard to do anything against fizz and vlad but u want to play around cooldowns especially vlad once he uses his q when his bar is charging he is most vulnerable so u can make trades and try to make him waste his w which is like 25 sec cd which makes him vulnerable to all ins/ganks. for fizz same thing just with his E. if you have trouble in lane you can take resolve/dorans shield and just play for roams/skirmishes/ganks. always look for dagger placements with your q and make sure to learn their ability cooldowns
