Masha Allah nice house. The doors were some of the best looking and quality I have seen in Somaliland. Loved the choice of accent colours (lovely shades of blue and green) on the walls in the bedrooms! The tiles in the kitchen and bathrooms were top notch . All in all it was aight!

As engineer I see several problems about this house. One of them is the house has got less air circulation. In side the rooms, no ventilation especially in the kitchen.
Love the windows but they're too small. The house is too congested and too dark. Not enough natural lights coming through due to small windows in size and paint colors.

Allahuma Barik. But the only issue is the rooms are tiny and not enough natural light.
It looks very good but some of the things makes it look like an office building rather than a residence. The stairs and the metal doors gives you an office building vibe, I wouldn't want that in my house. But other than that it looks good. Somehow I don't like houses that has a wall as a fence I would rather build a farm house that has it's fence 300 meters out and the fence would be trees.

The home is beautiful but everything just seems so cramped and just lacking space. Like the bathroom why didn’t they create more room. That’s only downside. Space is important for room and light and just looks so much better

Somali houses are beautiful but they mostly focus on the aesthetic rather than the functionality and safety. From what I have noticed their modern homes are not kid friendly, Incase of an emergency and the door jams you can't use the windows to escape and they aren't a family room where the family can laugh and enjoy. But they do have a formal room.
The windows are for protection against stone-throwers and thieves and since there are a lot of both it makes it definitely more safe to build like this. Family rooms are unnecessary, Somali families don't laugh and enjoy together because they are a strong warrior people.

These past two houses have office vibes. They shouldn’t have put those stairs directly at the entrance of the house. They should have had a grand staircase or an open space. Those stairs look like they should be at the back or sides of the house to lead you upstairs. Definitely not a grand staircase. I like that they’re trying to modernise their houses but they need to plan better

There are lots of thieves in Hargeisa unfortunately. It depends on the area.
No because you have guides at night that guide the city so no thifes but still people prefer that.
