She spent her entire life pretending she wasn’t black until she married harry. Her former manager (who helped her get acting roles) even said she used to put on applications that she was white. And that she just passed herself off as a tanned California woman. (Tanned meaning a white woman who has gotten a tan from the sun from living in California). The manager even said he didn’t even KNOW Meg was half black for a very long time. When she entered the royal family, it was the first time in her life she actually wanted people to know she was black. Pretty telling. Doubt you’ll ever see her wear her “natural” hair in public. She doesn’t even wear her own natural face anymore.

After wearing her hair straight for so long her curls are probably heat damaged. Curls don’t just bounce back healthy and uniform after so much straightening.
It doesn’t matter if you straighten your hair for so long the curls can still be there. My hair is naturally curly like the bouncy kind and I’ve been getting my hair straighten since I was 8 years old. My hair is still super long, it’s all about genetics 🤷🏽♀️.
Her hair has trained to be straight so a wash and go may not yield the hair from the younger Meagan.

Once I stop flat iron my curls they were all mess up with some parts look straight from heat damage. It’s takes a while if not flat iron my hair for it to bounce back. Megan can’t do that. Unless she gonna wear her natural hair in a ponytail for a long while. Now I put no heat in my hair, I just don’t want to chance it.

I don't think she's ashamed of her hair. I cut my hair to above my shoulders after years of people mostly knowing me for hair down past my butt. It's hair we all make decisions about it and the ease of taking care of it. I always grow my hair long and then cut it when it becomes too much of a chore when I start feeling like it's a burden I'm like I'm done.
But even if she let out her curly hair people will be making me comments about how she's just trying to put on a show. She's one of those people that whether she does something nice or whether she does something bad everything's going to be looked at as gold digger gold digger she a bad woman.

I have covered my hair for so many years that people are still shocked whenever they see my hair. I also didn't brush my hair vary well as a child because I thought my curls was tangles. We all find a way to deal with the hair we where given. And I usually wear my hair coved due to working with food.
Also I don't know if she has been seen in public with her curly hair because I am not her stalker.
Curly straight whatever as a person grows there desires and needs for their hair changes. My mom's hair is mostly pure White and people ask her why don't you dye it and make your self look younger my mom's replies always it's white pure white and she's not going to ruin it. I can’t talk like I’am Royal or married to royalty. I wanted to make it clear nowhere did I say… what she should do & I have a opinion which is allowed freedom of speech (facts) also stated word verbatim what M did herself once, another fact & not fiction.
What M said in her speech, “I was just a girl from suits.” Have I faced racism yes, have my children yes, definitely hurdles when I married my husband 14 years ago as I was from a council estate & he was from a comfortable background which went down badly. However ALL families have problems some bigger than others & it was my personal choice to not break a family. It took 9 years of consistently just being me. They didn’t hold our baby until he was 6 months, he was a twin, but we lost our son, during a altercation & me being pushed lucky only 5 steps, if more we would’ve lost both of our babies & much more happened. In front of me said to my husband sure he’s your child, doesn’t look like you? I counted my blessings & if we lost both babies yes they’d be behind bars. I chose to simply take what they said it as a joke & not harp on about the scroll of hurdles or most serious ones. They realised they did & got it wrong & I’d never said a bad word about them, point scored, tit for tat attitude & instead focus on building. Sometimes watch them with my kids from afar & get🥹as they have amazing bonds, we’re there for each other in the bad, if not the good all the time. If it didn’t work out I would’ve been able to walk away knowing I did everything I could. I told my husband if it leads to that & you want to vent see a psychiatrist, not people, because in reality to them it’s just gossip & it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know it WILL leak 1 day or another. Unless thats your intention & plan to act you had nothing to do with it - which I’d hate as that’s not the man I married. During the traumatic period I didn’t take their family name. When babies are born why do we pick names so carefully? As they’ll be called that daily. Through my journey seeing a psychiatrist & being one myself I knew being called that daily even once. Would cause trauma & when we deal with serious situations etc 1st basic on the list is, change of name. As that opens floodgates straight away & back to square 1 you are in therapy.

Why feel you should hide because of others or be ashamed? Nothing to be ashamed of it’s normal. So when you say, people don’t have to act the colour they are, why not? So you feel they should hide, be fake & not themselves? Everyone should embrace themselves, not everyone is going to like you in life & we’ve taught our children that from a young age & it’s liberating they understand & wont steep. Simple normal things like blemishes, I had hormonal ones recently has it effected my confidence? Yes! Do I like the scars? No - at the same time I know it’s normal & so what? As that’s real life, everything online filtered isn’t, at least when my make up comes off at night when I wear it & get in bed to my husband or see people I still look like me & not someone else. M says she’s all about empowerment (fact) yet you feel she shouldn’t have to act like what she is? (Your statement not mine) commented as M has took stand & said shes about empowering women & she has a platform. So I said, “would’ve been nice” Many females look up to M, imagine the ones with afros would find it so empowering to show theirs off FACT. Many patients shockingly talk about this, compare situations etc & they say that would be so nice x,y,z & list goes on. Just like how patients talks about other celebs too you’d be surprised.
People wherever in the world you are, don’t feel pressured by society etc, embrace yourselves & be true to yourself. Your beautiful the way you are when being your true self. Acting can will creep up with you one day & get dangerous. If you struggle then don’t hesitate to reach out to a professional. There’s nothing wrong with that, trust me psychiatrists see people who you’d never expect to, people who have everything but just want a vent to get grounded. I'm biracial and thankful that I was exposed and had relationships with both sides of my family so I didn't go through that "not white enough not black enough" phase that some mixed kids go through. I was fully aware that I'm both and for that I grateful to my parents.

Y’all do not seem to understand the significance of a black woman’s hairstyle. Historically black women were denied jobs due to their hair style. So her wearing her hair straight is to not face further criticism than what we see now, a black woman choosing to not wear her natural hair is to be accepted. Still to this day some companies will say that our natural hair is against company policy, a lot of black women even would not wear their natural hair for the first few months at their job even at the interview until after we are hired. White people find our big hair intimidating. She faces a lot of racism. And a lot of black women would put that we are white on our job applications JUST to get through the hiring process. Complain about the system not the maneuvers that were created in order to get through the system.
