Pl donot use plastic containers. It may be cheaper than stainless steel but steel is always better. Plastic is harmful. They may advertise food grade but not advisable.

Neenga sonna ella pointers yum very useful. True that steel n glass has its disadvantages too. You have thoughtfully selected the range 👍🏽
Plastic at least disintegrates n degrades in few years, but glass never degrades at all. It stays the same like forever. Dont know y everyone is so obsessed with glass which is actually more harmful than plastic.
For salt and tamarind try wood stone clay or ceramic containers which can be kept in one place n not moved. As these two are more reactive substances plastic or steel will erode quickly by reacting with this food.
