I am using 18 gauge bare copper wire in the video but you could use colored craft wire, sterling silver, etc. Add bead links to totally change it up. For a man, 16 & 14 gauge are a nice weight. You are going to love the ideas you are going to come up with...love love this project.

Pliers: Round, Chain & Flat Nose
    Cutters: Full Flush

    LOS (Liver of Sulfur)
    Superfine Steel Wool
18-14 gauge soft wire (I used bare copper)

I can just imagine what a real jeweler says about this technique! Rudimentary. Takes a wire wrap lover like me to appreciate this.

I had to teach a "real" jeweller how to make a basic loop lol. He was impressed with my skills. Thanks so much for watching.

As a "real" jeweler, I find that there is a time and place for all techniques, something like this works very well in this case. It is perfectly find to mix and match techniques when creating, I do it all the time. Not everything needs to be soldered.

I just started playing around with wire wrapping today... I'm serious, I picked this up for the first time today. Even a clumsy newbie like me could successfully make this bracelet for my little girl. She loves it, and I love this video! Thanks for making it so easy to follow. I'll be watching more of your videos for sure!

When I watch videos like this I sometimes think about the very first person who created the links. Same with any other wire links. Someone was just sitting around with nothing better to do, saw some thin wire and started bending and wrapping it.

And he happily tell them his mom made it ❤ He wears it all the time. I noticed that the silver is coming off so you can see the copper underneath. I guess we can call that a 'patina'!

I was searching for a men's bracelet to make as a gift for my cousin-in-law and this is PERFECT for my skill level! 👍 I was actually looking for something with Egyptian cross symbols (the ankh) or Egyptian style but had no luck finding anything masculine (or in my skill level) but if I can figure out how to make a symbol/hook, it will be TWICE PERFECT! Thank you so much for this tutorial. I can hardly wait to see how mine turns out! 🙂

I love this. It wasn't that long ago my mother ask me about making something like this and I told her I was not even close to ready to do something like that, but I think I am now and this is what I'm going to try. Thank you

I love this! I’ve made about 4 of these now and I have a tip for anyone with cheap flush cutters that don’t leave a smooth end. File your ends smooth by hand, it saves so much time when your trying to tuck your ends in and avoid sharp edges.
