St. Teresa's Girls' H. S. School Presents "THE FIRST LORETO NUN"

Mother Frances Marry Teresa Ball was born in Dublin on 9th January 1794. She was born in Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary (IBVM). She started the first House in Rathfarnham, Ireland in 1821 and named it LORETO. She was a woman of great piety and administrative qualities. Her energies were devoted to the establishment of schools and to the development of the sisterhood which now has members across the globe.
