Took me forever to finally get it right, but I'm so glad I didn't quit! This is literally the perfect size for my spider man blanket, I'm so happy I found this video. Also, thank you for working in an easy to see color, because that was why I had to restart so many times on mine; made things so much easier!

This tutorial is too confusing, but the spider design looks so good. I hope @crochetbyMM refilms it with clearer instructions.
I wish there were words. It's hard to follow along and see what stitches you are going into.

I agree, I had holes everywhere. Took it all apart. fed up. Your thumbs were in the way. When at the legs and you go into the body with a ss, are all the legs going into that same ss or do you go over one stitch to begin the next legs

It's def not accurate but I tried to write out the pattern and outcome looks very similar:
I used Medium "#4" yarn (recommended hook: 5mm) Hook used: 4mm.
1) Slip knot - Ch 4
2) 3 tr into 1st ch (feed hook under both top loop and back loop for stability)
3) Ch 3 - sc into same ch as tr
4) Ch 2 - sc into same ch
5) Ch 3 - sl st into top of 1st tr "T" (be sure you are continuing in a circle pattern and not accidentally flipping your project)
6) Ch 9 - 8 sl st down chain
7) Sl st into same st
8) Ch 7 - 6 sl st down chain
9) Sl st into same st
10) Ch 8 - 7 sl st down chain
11) Sl st into same st
12) Ch 9 - 8 sl st down chain
13) Sl st into same st
14) Sl St into top of NEXT st
15) Hdc into same st
16) Ch 3 - sl st through the treads of the hdc
17) Ch 1
18) sl st into same st
19) Repeat steps 15-17
20) sl st into NEXT st
21) Repeat steps 12 - 6 in reverse [Ch: 9,8,7,9]
22) Ch 3 - sl st into back end of spider body
23) Ch 1 - F/o (cut string long if you want to hang him)
Weave in ends and manipulate legs into correct position.
The body has a few holes but still looks good.
Sorry if I missed anything of if something is confusing, I don't have anyone to test this pattern beside myself.

I found it very confusing to follow you said the atitch type but not what stitch you are workjng in also half the time your thumb was in the way x

Cute spider, but need instructions not just stitches. Such as where are we slip stitching into. It’s too difficult to see where you’re putting stitches. I found written out instructions by someone in comments (auto Jenson )

Great pattern, horrible tutorial. You don't explain anything but what stitch you're using. There's more to a pattern than just the type of stitches used, like where you're supposed to put them to make it look right...
