I keep watching these battles, and in all of them the units seem to be ignoring rules about shooting through your fellow soldiers. These battles would look very different if the units had to consider friendly fire before shooting. Like it says in the Marine field manual: friendly fire aint.
Also the rifles fire straight like a laser instead of having to adjust for elevation
I think the same thing all the time it's just not all that realistic is it still fun though
The tank commanders were so subtle and clever, that they lured YOU into leading the enemy right into their guns. Logical...flawlessly logical.

The disparity in score is just an asymmetry compounding from whoever gets slightly more kills in the first round. They get more soldiers remaining and the effect is even greater the second round. Compounds and ends up with an asymmetry. Doesn't have to be the terrain.
I wish that once certain groups of soldiers start getting "stuck" and not being able to hit each other, you would just set them free and allow them to move towards their targets. That's actually a small pet peeve of mine on these videos in general. There are many times you have defense soldiers just sitting there that would greatly benefit from just being able to move towards their targets once the attacking army arrives, and at that point they wouldn't really leave their area anyway. I just think it would make for more interesting videos. Let your soldiers be free! :)

Old school battle lines? With muskets? Yes please! I love that initial wave of fire that slams into the opposing side!
My only critique that I could offer is putting all the soldiers on each side as mobile instead of static. That way there wouldn't be any issues of units being out of range at the very end.
So either the red coats need to be nerfed, or the US soldiers need to be buffed, because a slow, inaccurate musket shouldn't be overarching any kind of ww2 soldier
The redcoats had the defensive advantage as well as terrain advantage. The US soldiers were coming up a hill. A better possible scenario would be for both teams to march forward from a mile out.
It's ridiculous that the WWII American Army didn't get real ranged rifleman. They need to come up with a M1 Grand unit. Maybe, there's a way to get the infantry to move behind the tanks? lol
Realistically the side to shoot first will win due to having less soldiers firing back at them.
Well, assuming all soldiers on both sides have anti-stormtroop accuracy (100%)
If you send the SMG soldiers in first they lay down cover fire for the shot gunners to advance into range. Switch it up a bit so they don’t get dumpstered in the first shots
Volley fire means whoever kills the most in the first volley, will typically snowball into a huge advantage, especially with stat based things like this
I think itd be better to use less shermans overall, they're just too powerful, battle could've been won with just the shermans. Whenever I see the tanks or dense catapults I assume that side will win. And, as long as they are positioned correctly they do. Half as many of those units would make it more interesting.

Hi, Daley. Can you try to recreate Battle of the Pyramids (1798)? You can use Persians as Ottomans and Red Coats as Frenchies. French soldiers had five small squares, every square had 4-5 thousands, and Ottomans had 60 thousands mamluks and arabs. Also, if you want, you can increase numbers.
The team who gets to shoot first can shoot more because they did not take any casualties yet compared to the other team even if they have the same numbers. Terrain is another factor. Remember the US army with tanks vs zombies? At first, the tanks were killing a lot of zombies but as the corpses began to pile up, they shot at a higher angle, meaning they are not doing much damage at the back lines.

Uebs reminds me of the old command and conquer games from the 90's/early 2000's. Try 1 million red coats, in defences against 8 million zombies
You need to start setting units to attack so they seek each other out when things slow down
the tanks outrange the redcoats and since the redcoats won't move..... so the end of the battle was kinda dumb as the redcoats werent even firing back. If he'd switched them to freemove it might've been better
MY guess would be at this point, at 2:15 there are about 450,000 dead soldiers on the field
the red coats would of won the last battle also, if they were allowed to free roam too

Those are some accurate muskets they are firing. In real life you would be hard pressed to hit anything beyond 50 yards.
the range for aiming accurately was 100 yards and volley fire was 300 yards

Could you please finish the battles and look over the battlefield at all the dead soldiers please? It’s just very disappointing when a battle happens and you don’t even get to see the aftermath, or in a lot of recent cases the actual end of the battle

Team 1 reloading was slightly faster than team 2. It started out even, of course, but you could see team 2 becoming more and more delayed. Overall, team 1 had more shots on team 2... an unfair advantage.

Why is one side doing better than the other? The terrain isn't perfectly flat. Even on the overhead shot I can see where one side would have a terrain advantage over the other.
With a formal firing line, what’s the best strategy? To fire, then charge with bayonets while soldiers in the rear volley over the frontline?

If you’re the Roman Legion, what’s the best tactic when engaging? Encirclement, so the regiment is only ten soldiers deep instead of 500, and a musket ball has less targets to hit?

There’s a problem with this battle the Sherman’s have longer range meaning that while the Sherman’s can snipe the redcoats the redcoats can’t fire back

Yo mad tight I’m from Massachusetts too. My heart says Celtics in 7, but my gut says warriors in 6. No losses at home for gsw and Celtics have their highs in lows. I think eventually the warriors experience plays out.

This is incredible simulation. What's really disturbing is how the tanks look like they have "blood camoflouge",, and the army soldiers are all grey with no camo. But the tanks took the higher ground. Weird cheating, but it was still fun to watch.

The 'Red Coats' are a direct representation of soldiers from the time when the British colonized/oppressed dozens of countries, including America. I doubt this is the case, but I wouldn't blame him if it was.
