fox does ok against steve and light has cleaned up acola multiple times in the past so he probably wouldnt be TOO worried about steve specifically

Japan is really cracked, but their meta is under developed in some ways but on par or better than the American scene in other ways. And Marss thoughts and perspective show that.
I feel like they are very good at coming up with overwhelming strategies that work most of the time, while the American scene plays against the opponent more if that makes sense
Not even close. Their metas are far more developed. Na is inferior.
Hurt didn't get folded, he got 9th at Port (most stacked tournament ever).
tbf, his most impressive NA win there was like, Lima.

Just look up how to sdi. Mix up left and right sdi, or sdi in whatever direction makes it the hardest for the Luigi player, some Luigi players will have a harder time doing the combo on a certain sdi. If they try doing the combo near the ledge, sdi towards offstage to try and make it so they don’t have room to do the combo. Also consider looking at gimr’s new video on a new sdi method like marss said. I’m not sure how effective the new gimr sdi method is for escaping Luigi’s 0 to death, but it could be useful.

Hot take. Recover is worse, half his stuff isn't true, and he's like twice as light. Kazuya is just better lol
If they only kept his cyclone recovery, he would have been perfect. I don't even care about the gimps from smash 4. His cyclone mash was vital to him potentially living
Kazuya is far more consistent than Luigi and kazuya ultimately has a reflector. Luigi’s worst matchups are far worse for him than Kazuyas worst matchups.
