I'll be trying this brand of tint this week on my Denali tail lights. Recently had some vivid tint on but it started to peel. supposedly luxe is easier than vivid to work with. we'll see. :-)

I have used Luxe quite a bit, only a couple times with vvivid. As with any vinyl material, there’s a tendency for edges to lift if too much heat and tension is needed when installing. Try to add a fair amount of initial stretch with the first pull to then let the film shrink back into place on the edges when a little heat is reapplied. Hope that helps.

Can you do headlights or to much heat?

Hey! I have done some headlights as well. It’s been on my truck for almost a year and holding up fine.

How much tint did it take to do it

I don’t recall specifically on this project. Best way to determine how much to order is roughly measure the horizontal distance from the tailgate to the box side, and add a few extra inches to either side for working material. This is assuming the width of the roll is wider than the height of the light vertically. General practice is to order extra length than you think you’ll need. Hope that helps. Let me know if you’d like some clarity.
