Tip of the day. Just charge the car in the lay-by, with a donor cars engine running with jump leads connected. 20mins charging would have probably got you home. Worked many times for me in my AA days.

A little tip to solve the condensation issue, get a few odd socks and fill them up with cat litter and tie the ends and put them around the car. they suck up the moisture a treat.
BTW I think the Focus RS battery would of been too big anyway 😉

Before you replace the alternator check/replace the earth cable, had an Auris with a similar fault
Sound like exhaust rattling
Put your aircon on it dehumidifies the interior.
Get some of the dehumidifier boxes in it and get the windows cracked whilst it’s sat in the garage that will definitely help dry it out

So you need a bulb, some oil, couple of springs, some tyres, brakes and a few other bits. Get down to you local motor parts store. Not a massive list that. Should be easy for you guys with all your certificates

Spent days drying my mums car. Same problem after a knackered boot seal…
The top feels dry. And the insulation is saturated. Usually.

Strip it out and there's the rear seat belt fixed. I still think this is going to be the start of some really good videos especially if you do put a cheap turbo on and do it all yourself so mongs like me can copy you or laugh at u 👍
I know that in 2019, Mighty Car Mods built their own turbo Yaris on a budget and called it ‘Yaris Hilton’, when they bought a 2nd-gen (XP90) Yaris and after they swapped in a 1.8-litre Corolla engine, fitted an eBay turbo kit on it and made a bunch of other mods to it, it was making around 200 horsepower.

buy some of that £1 mould and mildew spray, put your blowers on and spray it into your air intake outside the car. while leaving the blowers on, wouldnt want any mould hiding in the vents
