She doesn't say "English is hard." She says "凄いはロンドン、" which literally translates to "London is great." I would've personally translated it as "London is something else." This preserves the original wording a little better, expresses how London (and by extension English) is beyond her understanding, and also preserves the sarcastic tone a little better. "English is hard" isn't necessarily wrong. It's just a lackluster translation.
