Being an Indian Seafarer in merchant navy ships, I have to travel through planes and I have to pack luggage for my 9 months merchant navy contract and as I do merchant navy job, I do have to switch my airport and flights from domestic to International airport for that I need to pack like a pro. For a mariner in merchant navy we seafarers need a decent travel experience and for that we seafarers maintain the checked luggage to pack under 20 kg. Under 20 kg baggage is important as all private domestic airlines in India like goair, indigo, vistara, spicejet, jet airways has a 15 kg free baggage limitation for check in luggage, where Air India offering 40 kg free baggage limitation. So we, the merchant navy seafarer should have an idea about how to pack our luggage or a suitcase for a suitable air travel. So, come on pack with me and know the essential items to carry for joining merchant navy ship. It can be your clothes, your shaving kit or men grooming kit etc. and get some packing tips for your air travel and obviously get an idea about what not to pack in your baggage to let it overweight. This video is specially for fresher seaman or first ship cadet working in merchant navy ship or will will choose merchantnavy as career..

Hii brother my name is NAIDU . I am a fresher in merchant Navy . I have some questions about medicine. That's which type of medicine we can carry without prescription. Can you send list with type of medical problem . For which type of medicine no need prescription in airport and onboard ship
You can take normal tablets for fever, cough and cold, acidity, pain relief bam etc. Avoid carrying liquid medicines. If you flying through Mexico, you must have doctor's prescription. If your ship going to USA, before port hand over all your medicines to medical officer on board. He will keep those in hospital.
