I'm an American and have been a fan of gymnastics for almost 40 years. I'm proud of any country that makes it to the world/olympic level. One of my favorite things to see is a gymnast or a team of gymnasts coming out of nowhere and shutting down a rivalry where the media only speaks of two or three teams winning a medal. Yup! She’s 16, and she’s got a silver medal at her first Worlds! She also finished 8th in the AA, and she secured her spot for Paris. I can’t wait to see what she can do with nine more months to train.

Je me demandais mais c est bien son entraîneur du club d Avoine Beaumont avec le maillot algérien ! Top elle a pu l avoir aupres d elle. Aucune remarque concernant la nationalité ici, je trouve déjà qu il y a beaucoup trop de commentaires totalement etrangers aux principes du sport sous toutes les videos. D ailleurs je viens d apprendre que ce club, l un des meilleurs de France (3 fois champion de France successif si je ne me trompe pas) a été rétrogradé en national suite aux nombreux litiges avec la fédération française. Ils ont subi une nouvelle règle (toute nouvelle pour eux je pense), celle de porter atteinte à l honneur de la fédération française de gymnastique donc pas obtenu un "label" obligatoire pour faire partie du top 12 malgré leurs excellents resultats. Je crois qu ils ont même une equipe qui devait monter et elle ne pourra pas car c est impossible sans être top 12. 😕

Juste une question : dans un documentaire bref de 3 minutes la femme qui commentée les prouesses de Kaylla à dit ,je cite : bravo à cette EX FRANCAISE ET NON A CETTE FRANCO ALGERIENNE. Les mots ont des sens. Vous l'avez cassée ne voulant pas la prendre dans l'équipe de France et maintenant vous vous mordez les doigts, en disant EX FRANCAISE. Desole mais c'est le DRAPEAU ALGERIEN QUI FLOTTE
Sad to see that this routine was defeated by a routine that several other chineses have done past decade I hope FIG does something to reward originality next quad
Your comment is ironic because the Chinese gymnasts are the only gymnasts to incorporate difficult L-grip pirouettes in their routines, whereas every other routine in the competition is just some variation of the Russian UB formula that's been used since at least 2012 (release + Pak salto + Shap or Shap 1/2 plus a bog standard toe-on 1/1 to fulfil the full turn requirement).
It’s ironic you say this but asides from kaylia connected all the elements, this routine is pretty generic too with a variation of nabieva and a flight series being a half turning flight which is extremely common this quad lol, stop being salty
