I also think if they added Head Mistress BloodGoods Head as a doll it would tie these dolls more into the Monster High World. I think it would be so cute.

Is there discourse on the designs of these dolls? Personally I think the designs are great! As someone who is only loosely familiar with the tropes of the shows/movies, I think they captured all the important features that make the characters recognizable. And it's much easier to adapt a cartoon into a doll than a real person, especially for a line as stylized as Monster High. If they were doing them as Barbies, that would be a different story. Cartoons just tend to have more exaggeration that make for fun doll details.
But speaking of that, it'll be interesting to see how they adapt the Netflix Wednesday to MH since those are on the horizon.
Yeah several people complained about them (shocking that people would complain ;) but I have a feeling those same people will still try to buy the set tomorrow and Friday. Iâm so nervous about getting them đŹđ€đ€đ€

So Ive seen both the cartoons. First was pretty good I own the blu ray. Second was bad. Iâve never watched it since the theater and didnât buy the blu ray lol

Idk they make these beautiful dolls and give them weird tacky accessories on their outfits
I can understand how they can look tacky to some. I think I donât mind them since theyâre fun Easter eggs to me but again I can definitely see how they could be tacky.

I think they better resemble the 90s cartoon versions of Morticia and Wednesday. I do not think they resemble the new animated movie at all. I personally am going to associate the dolls with the 90s cartoon series versions. In the series Morticia's very much a gardener.
Oh I didnât know there was a 90s cartoon version! Iâll need to find and watch them!
The sequel wasnât good and I loved the first animated one and the live action ones. I was Debbie and my husband was uncle fester last year for our Halloween party

@@kristinaland without spoiling it I think the problem is that they spend too much focus on trying to drive a wedge between Wednesday and Gomez in this one⊠like. I donât understand why in the animated ones she has to ârebelâ so much against them. Maybe it bias being a 90s baby and growing up with the live action movies but they did it well. It was everything as a family ya know?
@@taraleebeers13 I love the live action movies since I grew up with them too. I know people had a problem with the Netflix Wednesday since it didnât really show family togetherness but I allow it for Netflix Wednesday since sheâs a teen and a lot of teens donât want to be with their families during that stage.
