A little secret for you in case you didn't know, if you use the specialized semitrailer for the sterling and load a long log on it. It'll turn into a tank.

if warthunder just had these ground physics, its always a treat to watch snowrunner gameplay
warthunder used to have these physics, then people complained about overpowered positions on certain maps that you could climb to and instead of fixing the spots, gaijin just said "FUCK IT, PHYSICS ARE BANNED"
This truck looks like something that would be taken to explore Mars or Europa or something, amazing.
The Chieftain made a couple of videos about a crazy WW2 recovery truck like this a while back. Truly bizarre but awesome and surprisingly capable vehicles.
Dollar: I don't like modded vehicles, so that's why I'm going to keep it stock.
Also Dollar: Roads? Never heard of those.

1:02 An old american GMC T55E1 had this type of steering. In War Thunder however they did not modeled it the right way.

Little tip on the side: Use Low or Low- to go down hills at a controlled speed - for whatever reason the engine braking works perfect.
I like the first game a bit more as the grounds where way harder to traverse so if they just added those maps to this game it would be perfect
I don't think that's just the maps, but the whole new game engine.

0:43 Thats because thats how they actually perform in real life. There's videoe here in CZcams of logging Ural and Kamaz trucks just going through deep clay mud with water or snow like its nothing.
In game, that section will take you 10-20 mins tops. But it has to be done for gameplay sake.

Hot take, but despite being from the Second War, that truck is strangely futuristic. I mean, slap some modern plating and a few small greebles on it and it'd look like it's from 2080. And being that it feels like just this control-block sitting up on a weirdo extended chassis frame and drivetrain is weirdly cool.
Edit: Presently downloading this mod on console. Can't wait to take it for a spin and see how it holds up, and whether it can match my darling MAZ 543, Katyusha.
Edit 2: iz güd truk. I love how stupidly bright the headlights are, like a tiny neutron star stuffed in a lamp housing. Feel like I'm gonna shine open an Einstein-Rosen bridge if I drive at night. XD

There’s a new game coming out that’s based solely on the exploration of snow runner it’s called expeditions it’s not meant to replace snow runner it’s more made to focus on the exploration aspect as some people enjoy exploring more then transporting the goods across the map
I'm waiting for that game. And yeah it's more of a side project on the same (upgraded I think) engine. Those desert territories looks really nice
