- Davida is one of the premier luxury helmets manufacturers in the world. A real piece of classic European craftsmanship, Davida helmets are hand-assembled and finished in the UK, as they have been for over 30+ years. With Italian made (GRP composite) fiberglass shells, Davida helmets have a level of fit and finish, unlike any mainstream production helmet.
Davida is not just for looks either, there is also some serious engineering and testing that goes into each helmet. Davida's first full-face helmet is a result of the enhancement of their technical team with the very best expertise of Italian Moto GP & F1 racing helmet designers. Additionally, Davida helmets meet an extensive range of safety certifications from around the world, including ECER22-05 (Europe), DOT FMVS 281 (USA), and ACU Gold (UK).
In this video we show off their newest helmet, the full face Koura, as well as their three quarter helmet, The Speedster V3, that we're now carrying over at common-motor.com. In fact we recently got the chance to meet the fella behind Davida, David Fiddaman, who is just like us, a passionate lover of vintage and classic motorcycles (he's got a soft spot for Honda CB450's). It is always awesome to meet the real people behind such a fantastic product who enjoys riding as much as we do!

I have both of these helmets. They are beautifully made, they work and they look good.
Just so you know, in March 2020, Davida (UK) Limited made 8 of their full-time staff redundant, including ALL the staff in their UK workshop that actually made these helmets. Davida (UK) Limited filed for Insolvency later in 2020.
That's awful news. Another really good Brit company goes to the wall. ..although on their website they say that they are starting up again..?

@@lozwoz1779 good question. Viewing the web site and various lids, flash up states unable to talk about certain things. I paraphrase.
I have a Davide Speedster V3. The fit and finish are outstanding. I highly recommend their lids. I bought a Shoei open-face before, and my wife kept calling me Marvin the Martian. The Davida is far less bulbous, and fits my melon way better.
The 3/4 helmet is beautiful. The shield seems to be an excellent design.

That’s the Speedster V3, there is also the Speedster Model which I own and love. Purchased while I was in London.
How is the airflow through the full face helmet? Do you have problems with your glasses fogging? I currently wear a Shoei GT Air and have to keep the shield cracked to keep my glasses clear except at freeway speeds.

dude I have never seen you without your glasses and hat on. You remind me of UH calculus professor. im going to start calling the Professor.
I saw those helmets at Motorcycle Live at the NEC, Birmingham. They have a metallic Green colour which would go with the Ilex green of the CB360, it's the open face helmet.

I really liked the look of their helmets, but I have worn a full face helmet for many years and wasn't sure how I would feel about an open face.
Guess you cant close the vents?
Seems as if this company is out of business and only selling very limited current inventory 🤷♂🇬🇧
Yeah, unfortunately at the start of the pandemic is looks like they've closed up shop and are no longer making new helmets. We have been unable to get in contact with anyone over there.
