Welp to be honest i pretty much gave up on the first map, was not expecting this team to pull off a blitzkrieg in the second map with the last battalion

Fun fact: there is more red army in bf1 than in bf5

@@friend_of_battlefield2299 yeah, just like how people had to play as Americans after the Iraq War. The Soviets sacrificed the most out of any country in WW2. To ignore that is ridiculous. Battlefield V also obviously came out before the war. Not that that should matter if it came out after. This is a historical game and the Soviets were a major part of WW2 so should have been represented.
Tsaritsyn which in a few decades will be known as Stalingrad.
Man, if they only put that fact at the end of the operation, i would make it better has part of real history, and with the music on the background it maked me commie for life :')

Still remember playing this when I was in middle school, probably the most fun thing I've ever played to date. The only thing BF1 was missing was a Balkan front DLC.

I found out one my history professors is a fan of Battlefield and especially loves Battlefield 1 since he teaches this part of history with a huge passion. For the last week of class and into winter break he invited a lot of us to play operations in private matches. It was fun as hell!

My first impression is that the second round boost for the attackers is inadequate. Most of my team ragequit after the first round a half because we made no progress, and the defenders were pressing us to the spawn point. It was extremely bent in the favour of the white army.

How most red army operation matches lose in a nutshell:
The red army: no you just can’t camp at the spawn point
Red army tankers: haha tank go camping at spawn point
the game was on sale for less than 5 bucks. now we can ALL experience this masterpiece on pc again.
i remember on the 1st map in this operation, i was in a mark v landship as a gunner, we were the red army, we were losing but if we brought the tank ahead we would have won, the stupid driver stayed in one spot the whole time.

How does this game look and play better than the next two battlefields. I like how there was little customisation in the skins cause it gave you an actual feel like you were in the russian civil war

Mostly u need to wait for the operation's turn to show up as a campaign, but you can also try and make an announcement, If u play on EU servers I will certainly try and help to get a server going because it's my favorite as well! :D
When defending on the first map, my team and I were able to hold them at the first objective and nearly spawn camp them for the entire game.

For some reason the game states that the orders came from Stalin. Stalin was only a book keeper for the Bolshevik Party, in reality, the orders would have come from either Lenin or Trotsky.

That incident was not really the tzar’s fault more the fault of inept soldiers I don’t quite remember the name of it I think it’s bolody Friday but tzar Nicholas the second was just a terrible leader
The Tsar was not a Tyrant. An autocrat in the European monarchist term yes. But he wasn't. The Bolsheviks won over support by guaranteeing out of the war. The eastern front never truly ended. Because then they started fighting Poles, Ukrainians, Finn's, Ruthenians that weren't feeling the red tide. The plan was to turn the Empire into the Soviet Union not just Russia itself. It's why afterwards they(being Bolsheviks) invaded all of their neighbors(Finland, Belarus, Ukraine, Poland, Georgia, Armenia etc.) Independent sovereign states in 1917/18. Now imagine if the people new that "leaving" the war would promise 4more years of war. And ironically the civil war killed more Russians then their involvement in the first world war. Out of the 13million deaths in the Russian Civil War only 2.5million were actually military deaths. The others came from mainly famine, disease, and cannibalism
