I’ve been a MC patient for 5 years. James is, without doubt, the best HCP I’ve interacted with. He’s very personable and has never prescribed a poor product. In fact, he’s been well ahead of the curve with his professional judgment when recommending products, and I’ve had access to some quality flower before anyone had heard of it. I’ve tried flower he recommended which ultimately came to be recognised as top notch MC. He knows his stuff so much surely medicate! Thanks James!
If you want an anecdote for the library lol. Day 4 of medicinal cannabis, tried a strain called Donny burger throughout the day, and took a small nap. I don't usually take naps. I got up from this nap and immediately felt warm and good, and after a few moments of thinking it appeared as though parts of my brain were working that haven't worked since I was a teenager. I'm 37. The sensation, the realisation made me cry. This is a strain that's on the low end when it comes to strength and price. In my opinion, every single different terpene is a different medicine. True medicinal usage of it in the future may just have us isolating specific terpenes.
So.. a couple of months ago my dad passed away in Manchester (I live in exeter Devon) 2 weeks before my script was due. I was informed by my dad’s landlord that I had 5 weeks to empty a 4 bed house shed garage ect that my dad has lived in for over 40yrs! I called intego worried that I won’t be home for my script in 2 weeks end explained the situation. Without haste I was given an appointment with James a hr later. I have never met a more compassionate person within any healthcare system I have been involved with ever! He pushed a script through early so I could take 5 weeks of meds away with me so I didn’t need to worry. He also offered for me to call him any time just for a chat if I’m finding things hard with what’s happend! Never ever would you be offered that from a GP it’s this experience I have had that’s made me believe that James is not only vital to integro but also to patents. I have been with integro since swapping from my old clinic over a year ago and I regret not being with them from the get go. It’s been so nice to have someone on the other end of the phone or email that GIVES A SHIT. I hope integro realise how valuable this man is.
It's very interesting hearing his personal story. I didn't know that there were nurses in medical cannabis that have experiences with it themselves in a personal way, and not just professionals who learned everything from a book. To be honest I have already felt this kind of vibe from the nurse who speaks to me at Mamedica, Jurgita. She seems an awful lot more sympathetic than my GP was about my problems. I haven't even told her the details of what happened to me me to make me this way and benefit from the medicine, whereas my Doctor wanted all of the details, judged me on them, and then, I feel, misdiagnosed me and put me on some generic pills.
Jim was the first cannabis nurse I met with after switching from my first clinic that I only stayed with for one month I fo them a little bit cold, clinical and not exactly what I felt anyway interested in me as a person and a patient. I’ve always found James, quite possibly to his own because he’s such a lovely guy, will spend more time than he’s perhaps allocated to be more personable with patients. I’ve spoke to other patients since I was accepted for medical cannabis in September 2022. All of us agree that James is a total sweetheart and a professional And exudes huge amounts of empathy, as well as medical knowledge! James, we would be lost without you, always remember big fella though to put on your oxygen mask before helping others. Talk soon James, you’re fabulous!

James' personal experience with medical cannabis as a patient himself is really good as his recommendations are first hand, and he's recommended me a few medical cannabis medications in the form of oils that I've tried and they were the best recommendations for me - cannot thank him enough! Hands down, he's such an incredibly valuable clinician and just a really good guy - thanks for everything James!
Those trials cost enormous amounts of money. Hopefully, when awareness spreads of prescription MC in the UK, and there are 10s or 100s of thousands of patients, there will be both the acceptance and funds to do such trials 🤞🏼
