    We, my company bought 10 XCMG loaders, was apprehensive at first, but other than some small issues here and there, I actually really like them. Support has been great. Customers aren’t so big on them bc they aren’t “CAT” but they are slowly coming around. Thankfully they have Cummings engine.

      We are loving ours. Cummings is so much better then cats imo. These are good machines.

    Really diggin the intro. If you've had it on other videos & I missed it, apologies!! That Peterbilt delivering them was DOPE!!! Squatted & chrome galore. Did I ever mention how much I LOVE the tread patterns on those snow tires. The loaders look great. Curious to see how they'll perform, I'm thinking just fine.... They're ALL the same parts anyways LOL!!! Hoping all is well Bud, Dirty Jersey out!!

    dam i'm also been thinking about a xcmg 948. for the price compared to a cat 938 almost seems to good to be true. however i would be using it to install utilities (moving aggregates and materials with the wheel loader). only thing holding me back is that the dealer closest to me is almost three hours away and cat is down the road. i did see that there are using a cummins motor which should be easy to get replacement parts, but the only thing I don't like is the transmission there are using is from ZF which would have to be shipped from Germany if it goes bad. but i do know its been used by John Deere in some of there backhoe models so even if its a Chinese machine i thing it will hold up. I hope everything goes good for you this season and ill keep an eye on how the loaders perform

    • @SnowBoss
      @SnowBoss  Před 7 měsíci +2

      Cummins motors can't be beat imo. The zf powershift was used in almost every older generation loader from every brand. It's a solid transmission, just older technology. I would say the only downside to it is that you have to use the brake, where as the hydraulic in the Cats basically stop themselves. Other than that the machines are solid so far. We'll see how good they are when its time to move snow mountains. Stay tuned!

      Also the cost difference is staggering comparing apples to apples. The xcmg is over $140K less then a 938M.

    I used to run DMC3700 snow groomers in the 80's and 90's in the Canadian arctic for the American Dewline cold war radar sites and they had a D handle with a 10 way blade. I am surprised that loaders don't come with an electric plug in near the hydraulic lines which you configure like a skidsteer with a snowblower to control the chute and blower. Good video I am interested to see how well the new loaders hold up and perform. Did you trade cats and get a sweet deal for buying multiple units. Make lots of money and have fun with the fluffy snow from Winnipeg Canada.

      @@sethalexander2252 Exactly spot on! These loaders are built in China so yes they are cheaper and the true test will be in reliability, along with dealer support on parts and services. Nothing like having a machine break down at 3AM during a major snowstorm and you are unable to get parts or service for days, that will be the true test because doesn’t matter what brand machine you purchase these days they all will at some point need repair parts and service which CAT is still hard to beat with their dealer network.
