The hardest part of navy bootcamp was not messing up the deck log.
Fuck that deck log and starboard watch
Not once did I have to do the deck log was cool with starboard watch
Starpoc hater their lives
100%
Y’all grown ass men can’t even write properly 😂
The hardest part of navy bootcamp was the folding
I was never crazy about washing my clothes on stone tables and hanging them with clothes stops…different strokes…Co 336-65 San Diego.
Yea folding clothes getting a navyship and realize. It made no difference, YELLING AT THE BOOT CAMPS. THIS WOULD NEVER HAPPEN IN THE FLEET
Not falling a sleep in class, best part of being a YN was skipping chaps stories
Yep and staying awake
literally and swimming for me 😂😂😂
Watching this on MEPS hotel😭
you’ll be fine
Good luck
Wish you the best 🤙🏾
As long as you can follow instructions, move fast, and fold clothes well, you'll do fine. I went January 2009.
Hey you will be okay my husband is graduating this week and the 10 weeks go by fast if you have people to write to like your mom or dad or who ever plus they have a few hours of down time to write letters or church services on Sunday but my husband wrote me back every day until this Tuesday since he graduates less than 2 days
Retired a Chief after 20 yrs.....loved it!!! Good luck to all the new sailors!
I ship out Aug 13th
@@Godsoldier444It’s not that hard you got this
Graduated feb 1st love the navy so far boot camp was hell
I'm thankful for the video's, my son is in boot camp now and this actually helps me see what he's doing and going through 🙌🏽💪🏽💙
Shout-out to that recruit in the background at 21:00 who stopped when the FQA was reaming out the other recruit, waited until she was occupied, then slipped away down the street, LOL.
lol 😂 shit man when did FQA become first class petty officers? I remember when I was in it was all E-7 and above and when they were around the whole division was on their best behavior. Shit it was as quiet as a pin drop when they came around. I remember i use to hate going alone to get chow or liquidate my smart card especially wearing a navy ball cap when a master chief would walk by you and begin to fuck with you because you were a sailor now.
The hardest part was standing there getting yelled at and not being able to talk back
This feels like without cameras would be more intense
Damn waking up at 5:00-5:30?? You recruits are spoiled. I remember reveille was 0400 everyday no matter what back when I was in 2000. Shit I always had the balls to 0200 watch because I knew how to do the deck log and was promoted to E3 because of it but gosh damn that was rough getting only literally 4 hours a sleep just about every night. The hardest thing about bootcamp was the first couple of weeks there and that P-day week. I have nothing but the upmost respect for those who take off from their home town to go do this.
Shoulda been chill with starboard watch i got all the good ones because we were chill with eachother
RTC Great Lakes Company 154 div 22 1992. The place was obviously rebuilt. Nothing looks like it did when I was there. My class was one of the last all male.
Theyre still mostly all male. Mime was all male 2 years ago. Every once in a while there's enough women for a division or 2 to be mixed in a training group.
The heat and humidity of RTC Navy Boot Camp Orlando Florida was rough. But going through recruit training was a great experience. Company C118 June 10th, 1987. "The Silent Marching Machine". 🎉
At 24:01 I heard C130. Wow. That was my company way back in 1986 at RTC Orlando.
Company 359, 23rd Division, October-November 1986. Recruit Division Commanders, as they are called today, were referred to as Company Commanders then. The most recent pictures of RTC today, suggest that the whole base was torn down and rebuilt. Also, in my time there, whenever a CC asked you anything, you would respond, "Yes Sir" or "No Sir".
Doesnt look like anything like we did in RTC San Diego back in the day , Seems like a whole different Navy now !
Man that base ain’t even a thing anymore
They should of never left san Diego
@@ElMCH-vb7xv -Cheaper to be in the middle of the Country
@@commonsenseisntcommon1776 should of just shared it with Parris Island and san Diego Marines same dame department mine as well .
They turned that place into a park and random restaurants and stores, look it up, “Liberty Station”
It's crazy how much their buildings remind me of a school.
Military, schools and prisons all have the same vibe
Navy Chief Navy pride !!
Grave Mistakes is in of itself cruel and unusual punishment.
It's definitely a whole lot different from when i went in. C130 1986 RTC Orlando.
I joined in September 2003 we had the old buildings Uss Hopper ship 11 division 421
Im going to boot camp at July 8th, I’m just scared of failing the physical (exercise) test, I’m not fat or physically unhealthy, but I’m afraid that if I mess up, everything would be for nothing and I’ll be sent back home
Don't be scared bro. The physical test is one of the last things you'll do plus you'll do a practice test at the beginning of bootcamp to see where you are. You'll have plenty of time to get where you need to be. Good luck future sailor.🫡
if I could go back 32 years & join the Navy like i was gonna do I know my life would be different , someone asked me what if you would have gotten killed & I said no regrets I would have died serving my country
Now they raised the maximum enlistment age to 42.
And navy medical officer candidates can earn their commissions up to the age of 64 just like the other branches (not the USMC).
In my basic training sept 1987 Orlando Fl we ended up with one RDC the other fit in trouble for jerking recruits head with her hands and actually hit busted down in rank too We didn’t need her all she did was try to destroy what the other one did. With one lad Chief petty officer Katherine Scott we rocked it ended up coming in second best company i respect you all that train troops thank you fir your service but I can tell you she would have never accepted any of those push ups I’ve seen here..
Go NAVY!
That why I picked orders for recruiting instead of RTC 😂
I admit that when we got our leggings, we all thought we were the shit. I am glad to see they beefed up the physical aspect though.
Maaaan this was no joke omg it's tough I was MA
EO2 went through Boot in 97. you noobs are lucky
I'm just waiting to go do my physical and medical for the Navy
well good luck to you & thank you for serving
Good, good
Bro all I wanna do is mechanic in that navy do that mean I have to go through all of this?
If I was so capable of joining a military force, then I would have been a Navy Seal.
It was a joke in 2005 as a 17/18 year old kid (birthday is in August)…..submarine school was “harder” per se, but luckily as a Bostonian, I drove home every weekend and hung out with my friends since we would’ve all be freshman in college lol.
As a cop, even the police academy is dumbed down…….
But!!! I enjoy my 12 hour midnight shifts over waking up at 0330 every day for recruits. Fuck that nonsense
Weight standards are different too
What is Petty Officer Isaacson's insignia under his Surface Warfare insignia? I don't recall that one
@75keeper, EXW (Expeditionary Warfare Specialist) 👍
I think that's a seabee combat warfare pin also known as a scew
@@treavorprange4336 it’s an EXW, not a SCW.
I ship out on July 17th
Division 288
2015-present
This is a fkn cakewalk. I went through the Marine Corps recruit training and it was no joke. I also served in the Army reserves and at my AIT School, it was tougher than this.
Its not a matter of who’s tougher.
Dude shut up. Every branch does a great job at turning civs into military service members. Nobody cares about how hard your training was compared to this.
you want a cookie lol.
Straight up it depends on your RDCs. But to sum it all up Navy bootcamp is a joke we had overweight mfs graduated with “Bike chits” cause they couldn’t pass the OPFA. THE FUCK??
@@gavink2834typical marine😂🤌🏾
Whats phone privileges like in the navy boot camp
Alright so check this out as an RDC I can tell you you will use your own phone every 2 to 3 weeks usually on Saturday
12:40, Thank you sir?
Military Bearing seems way off nowadays
Trust me this is not how it was when I went lmao completely different off camera and the cussing was through the roof
this would've been just a roast session if it was USMC bootcamp 9:10
Those who cannot do, teach. Remember that RECRUITS.
A lot different than it was in '64
So easy compared to the old days
Go Navy
I walk where I want to walk
As someone going to bootcamp in 3 months, this was extremely boring to watch. I thought that it would be harder...
cant decide between navy or army i'm just watching a bunch of videos helppp lmao
Depends on what you wanna do
Navy or Airforce
Pretty easy decision. You wanna live in a prison on water? Join navy
THEY TOLD ME I NEED TO BE AT LEAST 186 ON WEIGHT AND I SEE PEOPLE THERE BIGEER THAN I!!!!
When ur bigger u have a harder time
Why are they even saluting an enlisted.
Company commanders are commisioned during bootcamp only !
it’s because when they are reporting when someone walks in they always salute other than that they don’t salute enlisted. It’s a thing when reporting
Hm....
Hooyah seps
There is a lot of bullying in there with other sailors.
can't help but laugh every time I watch Navy bootcamp videos, it reminds me of JROTC, I would have a hard time taking these instructors or whatever they call themselves seriously...GO ARMY!!!
Y’all don’t have to stand at attention??? 13:52
ℹ️🧿Hello Petty officers i am your drill sergeant in a Enchantress 🫡⚡🧜♀️🕊️, greetings and salutations 🇦🇫⭐®️⚔️📜
Definitely not paid enough for this.
11:13 GEEZUS. Today's generation of UNFIT Recruits. 13:31
Running in boots??? Navy must not want them staying in.
Sloppy salutes.....
Its funny to see the navy act hard when every knows they arent
Sure the navy goes the hardest
@@jessewarr1277 sure they do sir iv been here a long time and i gota say they do not its nothing but a lil pt belive me when i say the only branch the navy hold a candelstick to is the airforce lol and there just as soft
@@jessewarr1277 plus the cant even mount a scop on there rifle the right way look the navy is amazing but its not the usmc and its a joke to try to say its the hardest no its not Delta force is better than the seals and thats about the best the navy offers so the truth is yes the navy does have a lil power but thats all subs as far as trying to say it goes hard isent true at all
You’re too young to remember 1978, that’s the year I entered Boot Camp. It’s hard only if you fail to follow instructions.
@@inhocsignovinces1081 i was born in 1978 but i joined the FFL in 98 my brother the usa navy i remimber him telling me that bootcamp was like pe in school my bootcamp was tourture the american kids are so weak now so its seems hard to them but the truth is its funny to see the navy try to act like the marines
Boring goodbye 🫡🇩🇪👁️🙂↔️👩🎓✝️
No one wants to join bro
First MAJOR Mistake was letting women in.
I bet you’re surrounded by family and loved ones.
@@Cloby02😂😂
Ok grandpa go back to bed
Go to sleep bro
Exactly I'm a female and women shouldn't be cops firefighters and never in the military like seriously women are not physically strong like a man and a woman can not carry a man over their shoulders in a war or anytime, women put men in danger all the damn time n
