  • Footage of studio rehearsals with Lauren Ball, shot in December 1969. Note that the musical was still referred to as a musical adaptation of All About Eve at the time. Seen alongside Ms Bacall is director/choreographer Ron Field, going over the steps to the dance break of "But Alive."

    This show was Amazing as was she!!!
    I saw it with Bacall when I was in High School, and then saw it about a year later with Anne Baxter playing Margo!!!
    .....was also the first show I saw Lee Roy Reams in

    Bacall is not giving accurate answers to the interviewer. It is not true that the only time she ever sang professionally was in movie a few decades back. Bacall sang on live television on the Danny Kaye Show a few years prior to this...and I mean really sang. And Bacall did dance before....Bacall also took 13 years of ballet from the time she was three...a fact she mentioned in another interview.
