- Footage of studio rehearsals with Lauren Ball, shot in December 1969. Note that the musical was still referred to as a musical adaptation of All About Eve at the time. Seen alongside Ms Bacall is director/choreographer Ron Field, going over the steps to the dance break of "But Alive."
A rehearsal clip of Bacall? Seriously! This is one of the only reasons why the internet is good...
That better be High Point in the coffee cup she's holding!
she looks amazing!!!! and what an amazing feat to carry a musical when she never did before.
This is what talent, hard work and class looks like
This show was Amazing as was she!!!
I saw it with Bacall when I was in High School, and then saw it about a year later with Anne Baxter playing Margo!!!
.....was also the first show I saw Lee Roy Reams in
Grandma Grandma ❤
Bacall is not giving accurate answers to the interviewer. It is not true that the only time she ever sang professionally was in movie a few decades back. Bacall sang on live television on the Danny Kaye Show a few years prior to this...and I mean really sang. And Bacall did dance before....Bacall also took 13 years of ballet from the time she was three...a fact she mentioned in another interview.
