an Onbeatman Animation Studios Video 2020 - Krátké a kreslené filmy
Another great episode!
Agreed. This helped me a lot. And also judging by your new video (scooby doo vs pennywise) I assume this helped you too
ITS THE DUCK SONG GUY
For years I've waited for someone to make an Ai program that takes the audio & makes a good mouth animation to the audio. It's so crazy something like that doesn't exist yet. Mouth animation is so tedious & time consuming it makes the process so unenjoyable & grindy
You can do that in Adobe Animate
Tip for anyone watching this video 2 years later: It's considered good practice to apply the tracking keyframes to a Null Object and then parent your mouth precomp to the null. That way you can move the mouth independent of the position keyframes (e.g. move the mouth into place) but still have it follow the tracking while being able to start adding your own position keyframes over the top of that tracked motion. Maybe the character smirks off to the side or is chewing food and you want to change the position of the mouth but still have it follow the head, now you can do that without messing with the tracking position keyframes.
I have two schools now and thank you for all the tutorials
Hello there
A surprise to be sure but a welcomed one
@@generalkenobi4157 general kenobi!
Yes thank you! I’ve been wondering how to do this and you post a tutorial.
Thanks for this tutorial, despite the fact that it’s been forever since I’ve animated legos
You NEED more subscribers!!!
Just asking, how do you add the subscribe animation to your video?
I created it from scratch in After Effects! got a sub button, thumbs up, and bell then animated them how you see here :D
@@Onbeatman ok, thanks for the tip onbeatman!
Thank you so much I've benn waiting and looking for videos like this
As soon as I started looking for training videos, this comes out) Thank you Onbeatman!
Thank you soooo much for this episode! It was just what I needed!
Awesome i really needed to know some of this!!!! I am so excited to watch this episode!
fancy seeing you here lol
Ten To Ace Studios Oh yeah I love OnBeatMan, tbh you’ll find me commenting on loads of Stopmotion videos lol
I actually found your channel through a comment on an onbeatman vid
Ten To Ace Studios Oh really lol nice
Hello there
Great tutorial, amazing work!
Awesome I'd love to see some detail on how you designed/texturized your mouth sets. Yours are perfect!
This is super helpful!
Great job you deserve more subs!
Thanks for this tutorial, it's a very good video
can't begin to stress how good this video is. I am using much more extensive and detailed mouth animations for the first time in a film (previously just doing that black mouth going up and down effect). I was nervous about working out how to implement them into a sequence and get it all working well in AE and this proved to be a really great, straight forward, but in-depth tutorial. Kudos 👌
Cool
Yesss finally
Amazing! Thank you so much! 😍😁👍
14:44 is where he shows what he did
I just draw a black line over the talker every second or so frame so it likes it’s talking.
Thx this helps!
"WElcOmE BeAk"🤨 lol thanks bro
I gotchu bro lol
I have been doing mouth animation in my own way but it was just painting out that mouth made it look odd. This way is a great method for mouth animation 👍
thanks for share
Hello onbeatman how are you I saw the video and I liked it but I have a question my pc has the after effetcs cs4 I can do the same procedure or it has to be the program you have (after effects cc)
Would it be possible to 3D track points on the face and then attach the cc cylinder to the tracking? That way you'd have the nice curved surface effect without having to manually adjust the cylinder?
This is probably better for shorter animations, with the time it takes, right?
What about just using a head without a print on it? Is that an option or is it an hassle to align stuff?
Well done! Now I have to see if I can do this in DaVinci Resolve so I don't have to learn After Effects haha (mainly rotating the mouth to match the direction the face is facing)
Did you ever figure it out. Cause I be using Davinchi
@@CuhhDiii no I haven't had time to try it. I actually forgot about it. I may make this a new goal to try and figure it out. I have a group of friends that are great with Davinci so I will see what I can come up with.
@@epiccitybuilders Let me know if it works my friend. Cause I’m curious
and how it work out?@@epiccitybuilders
Could you please make a video about composting in after affects
Already have a few videos on after effects if you want to check them out! And there will be more to come!
how to download mouth positions on my Lego Studio stop motion?
What kind of camera do you use? Currently I’m using my phone, but I’m hoping to get a dslr within the next 2 months
I am using the Canon T6i right now! great camera for animation and one of the more affordable models. There is also a more affordable model called the canon t6. (without the i). The specs are different between the cameras so be sure to look at those before purchasing 👍 I'll also be doing an episode on cameras very soon so be sure to keep a lookout for that :)
@@Onbeatman thanks, I was looking at the canon rebel eos t7
Is very hard to make😮
That’s really cool but I don’t have a computer or after effect since I shoot my brick films on my phone
Same

Hi Onbeatman I would like a link to the Mouths you used in this video tutorial as we are starting out on our Lego animation and i use AE too would that be possible
Hey! They’re available on my patreon! Linked in the description
@@Onbeatman what level of joining do i pay to get the mouths and where on the site are they?
@@Onbeatman is it the 3.50 one
@@Cazsounds yep! Production materials tier.
Quick question: are you the voice of gus floocher?
I wish! He was before my time tho. Parents named me after him.
I wanna see this done in Blender as it's actually a free program
Same
HEY
You can just make everyone a Mandalorian so you wouldn't need to do this
bin ich der einsikste Deutsche der sich das anschaut?
To bad I use Mobile
Honestly, Mouths in General are overrated......
Mouths really bring the world alive. It's so hard to watch a brickfilm without some kind of mouth animation, it's just too weird
@@forrestfire101 Yes, that is true. The audience of your videos focus more on the face then the actions while talking, so adding mouth movements are essential in todays competitive brickfilming world. And @RestInPiecesProductions that comment either means you can't do it, or you r making and excuse to not do it because ur lazy.
