Tekken 8 is fun, i might just consider buying it. what i dont stand is that some characters are goofy and not on my watch to try them out. To me its always about the mainstays of the franchise such as: jin, law, kazuya yoshimutsu, and the rest. but i guess it has become common nowadays with fighting games for developers to introduce new characters. but bottom line is if i pick it up i will have the standard edition never mind for the dlc characters that come even if they legacy fighters from previous games. but yeah im seeing a lot of tekken 5 and tekken 6 characters coming back. the only fighting games that i will have complete editions with all the dlc characters and skins the base characters and skins are sf6 and mk1. Max keep up the energy flow as always.

Top players agree that Jin is Still arguably top 5 or top 10 in Tekken 7 even after all the nerfs. They simply just made him harder to play and requires a lot of warmup like other mishimas. Here in tekken 8, everything about jin is easy hahahaha.
I don't remember a time when Jin was ''middle of the pack'' in Tekken 7. Also Jin was broken even way back in Tekken 4. Jin is hard to play but he is REALLY STRONG, specially in Tekken 8.

Jin is broke, he got the reverse treatment of kazuya in the latest beta. He was already a perfect character that requires work, release balance is going to be very interesting indeed.

Sorry I gotta say you don't have to have played Tekken for 15 to 20 years to duck a df1,4 string from Jin. A lot of df1s or mid pokes in Tekken have a high extension. That guy didn't even have a KBD. Not trying to make fun of him or Max, but you don't need to have dedicated half of your life to learn tekken. I'm excited for the new features that will make learning the game much more intuitive for newcomers

That takes years to get down after seeing moves for so long, you don't just do it over a week. As for KBD, the timing on some characters was changed, notably Law. Dude was clearly use to the older timing of rapidly cancelling instead of the more delayed method Law got.
Why does it feel like the frame rate number is fake.. It barely moves an inch in the entire beta yet it's CLEARLY dropping down to like 30 fps in some moments.
Jin looks dope AF but Asuka is my Kazan’s of choice. Also bikini Azucena REALLY highlights the Tekken female problem where they all just look like Barbies with different outfits then you look at shirtless Kazuya and are like GOD DAMN THE MUSCLE DETAIL

Im so damn excited i just want christmas to be over and for it to be january already. Spending time with my family is nice and all but Tekken is better than family. Families drift apart. Ppl die etc. But Tekken is forever. Even my daughter knows that Tekken comes first. I have my priorities in order.
I'm just so glad that after playing this game for over 30 years, that they finally added Street Fighter style ultra hyper combos, moves that absorb a strategic counter, chip damage, rage meters, penalties for reading your opponents moves and blocking and pay to play characters!!!
Tekken 8 will be better than Mortal Kombat 1 terms of story, in my opinion. When the last chapter of Mortal Kombat 1 happen I didn't like it at all because of the Multiverse fanatic it made Mortal Kombat worse, and it's showing how creators are not caring anymore.😒😮💨🙄😔😪😴
