Thank you, honestly it took me a while to get used to inktense (like years). I do find them easy to work with now, there's also a how to video in my beginners playlist that you might find helpful on how I use my derwent inktense pencils 😁

Thank you. Yes I wait for the paper to dry. Once I finished one layer the beginning is usually already dried so I just keep going 😁

Hi Karen. I have all the Inktense pencils except Mineral Blue. Of the original colors, what would be closest to Mineral Blue? And thank you for this full book colour along. My plan is to complete my book following all your videos.

Hmm so there isn’t anything similar to it in the original colours. The lightest blue is probably the iris blue. But it’s a different tone of blue.

Hi, beautiful background 😘. I never see you squeeze your waterbrush though .Do you dip it in water offscreen? That's what I always do anyway for more control. I have some issues with those waterbrushes. They either don't release any water or an excess of water 💦 😅. Thanks for showing how to do a background with Inktense 😊.

I have an inktense tutorial coming next week on backgrounds which I’ll talk you through step by step. The waterbrush holds the water already but with inktense you need as little as possible so I’m continuously wiping it on a cloth.

Hi Carole, I have them turned on for every video. It’s automatic. However, CZcams won’t add subtitles to videos over a certain length where there is more music than talking.

Hi Karen, you mentioned that you will be doing a tutorial on how to do watercolour backgrounds. Would your tutorial work in all Johanna Basford's books? I ask because my book was printed in the UK and is different from the printed versions in other countries.❣
