You guys should do something where you compare different pcs at the same price point.

hey pcbros, thank you for teaching me so much abt pcs! im almost 1 year in and have had 3 different pcs. i have just managed to build myself a pc from facebook marketplace for 410 dollar. bought an used pc for 300 dollar with pretty new components in it, a nice noctua case, ryzen 5 3600, 16gb 3600mhz ram, B550-plus motherboard, 750w psu, 500 gb samsung 860 evo sata ssd and a gtx 970. i sold the 970 for 90 dollar and bought a rtx 2060 super used for 200 dollar.
Your lucky. I sold my 970 to a friend in a build for $500 (it had a core i3) and I bought an RTX 2060 super for $450 when it was still new in August 2020. I should have waited
I like the build. not bad for a starter who doesnt want to do any customization and wants it to look cool and perform decent. and also 1 more thing, in your benchmarks can you please add GPU usage and GPU mhz instead of the Temprature alone?. Thank you.
this is what i was looking for thank you for reviewing
I'll be honest this setup performed better than I expected lmao
Probably a Kepler 730 then, I own a fermi one and it’s not this good.
still sucks tbh you can buy series s xbox for 250 which comes with controller and then add 100 for a monitor for a total of 350 and u get 120 fps on fortnite for example. but i guess it depends on what games you want to play and if you can play controller
@@DetectiveConan990v3🤓 🤓 guysh buy an xboxsh
@@DetectiveConan990v3also super wrong no monitor is gonna be 120 hz for 100 dollars and consoles can't play any pc games
@@Volonid shush kid
I feel like you can get better with an upgraded optiplex for that price but I guess a good portion of the money went to the customized front panel.
for some reason the pc in the video is performing better than my Dell Optiplex 990
GT1030 (MSI 4GB)
i5-2400
16GB Of Ram
250GB SSD
500GB HDD
The reason the graphics card was so hot is because 6th gen OptiPlex's usually have an intake fan to cool down the graphics cards. Though it looks like they got rid of it to make room for the rgb.
And they have airflow vents at the front
You seem like you are good with pcs could you play other ges on this like ready or not (I no nothing about pcs💀)
i feel like i watched this same video from you guys like 6 times now .. and i still watch lol good job
I watched a few "we bought a pre-built for cheap" videos and for some reason everybody starts to disassemble the PC itself. I can't understand why not test the system as it is arrived and after the tests are done disassemble it.
Beside the urge to get system in pieces, it is a great video, great vibes. :-)
Also that keyboards just awful, it is so effing loud... I can't stand it.
It's been a long long time, but I had one arrive with instructions to open and check components before powering on. This was well before the interwebs were full of videos of delivery workers casually tossing expensive items about.
Dawid does tech stuff does it the right way
Maybe here its the time constraints?
I put Sapphire Pulse RX550 4GB in all my Optiplex builds. I ordered a heap off Aliexpress a couple years ago for $70 a piece. They pair perfectly with the i5-2400.
I upgraded one to a 2600 with a 1050ti. The small form factor optiplex I had I could swap in a 500w psu. So I put a 1660ti in it, well....half out of it too. Lol
This seller actually has RX550 on offer for $30 more.
@Y TUBE did you use a 6pin adapter to SATA or something? Or did you swap PSUs?
Looks decent, and the fact you got a gaming PC (albieit a converted Dell Optiplex), monitor, keyboard, mouse and other accessories for under $500 is pretty good!
Do you think this pc would run minecraft well? Assuming it was only used for servers to pvp on?
@@vectorslair1477 it ran fortnite and valorant with pretty decent and stable performance, I'm positive this setup can reach 150+ fps with optifine and low settings, if you wanna go full performance mode and use the Sodium mode (best mc performance boost mod right now) i guarantee you'll hit 300+ fps.
@@jesuispasvalid8392 more I have a laptop and I get near 100-200 fps
@@jesuispasvalid8392do you think it could run roblox?
@@horacioplayz2182yea rovlox isnt too hard to run
Isn't there a vented side panel (that you've got the PC standing on), to intake air to the gpu? Did you guys try to lay the PC horizontal to see if the gpu temperatures got any better? I have the same GT 730 gpu by Colorful, and it doesn't get nearly that hot.
i just got my first pc and i have to thank yall for telling me whats good for a budget pc.
Costco has what looks like a great budget starter PC on their website for $500.
This the full name of the product im talking about.
ASUS ROG Gaming Desktop - AMD Ryzen 5 3600X P - GeForce GTX 1660Ti - Windows 10.
I'm more interested in the specs of the motherboard because if its a B550 it's totally worth it in terms of upgradability
for 500 thats amazing
Let me know if you find anything else out I just looked it up and I think I want to get it only sus thing is I see no reviews
crazy...a year ago it would have been almost double that
@@qy-exotic7717 it is if the motherboard is a b550 its a steal!
@@5k_jay840 yea I tried looking a bit and couldn't find much but I'll let you know

Gotta appreciate toasty bros for the daily content🙏🙏
they don’t post daily

My two monitors were cheap. I snatched them up from the curb before the trash truck got them. 😄
If you even have a gaming PC period! You're doing better than most of us so how ultra fast it is ain't my issue it's price first!
what graphics card can you put in there to make it perform better
Not a bad little system for the price
can you try the awd-it gaming pc set pls because i am looking to buy it but i dont know if its good
yoo the dart monkey chilling I love it 😍
They have recently updated some of the hardware on this set up for the same price now on Amazon updated monitor and keyboard mouse set up and comes with a i7 now instead of a i5 bought one for world of warcraft playing on ultra settings most of the time when in some raid encounters it does lag so going down a level in graphics was required but very impressive for the price and definitely a recommend for a entry level gamer
Toasty bros are just too underrated
Would anyone know how games like swtor, stellaris, and warhammer 40k games would work? My current pc (not a gaming pc) as problems running these games in low settings
You know they messed up the airflow bad when the gt 730 is overheating, guess that’s what you get when you shove a thick acrylic sheet onto the only intake.
Adding bling-bling to a TURD only increases the problems when choking out air-flow! Already a under-preforming WORTHLESS system as it is...
Can you please tell me how to connect it to the wifi?
Love the video
about time you got sponcered by HP
i got a setup fully, with headset leds (alot of leds) signs, moniter and pc keyboard and mouse, mouse pad all for around 170 dollars
you should do a video how to insall msi afterburner
Hi Toasty bros. I’ve been following your content for a while now and you guys have inspired me to start saving up for a pc. Money in my family has been hard recently and it’s been hard to save money for the past few months. It’s always been a dream on mine to be able to play video games on device other than a Android. As of now I have saved up $115. I quit my football team to have more hours to work and earn money for my family and save extra money to go to my pc. I wasn’t sure if I felt comfortable to share this with anyone but I finally built up the courage to comment this. As I said before thanks for inspiring me and I hope y’all have a blessed day
I know u got this because you were smart enough to take action to achieve what you want that type of mindset takes you places
Depending on what your exact call is. The office computer with the cute stuff here is around 140 on ebay. Without a 730 in it.
Add a 1050ti for about 100 you have a very basic cheap can basically play anything on low. Few games at mids
Good luck with your PC search! Honestly, if you're keen and know what you're looking for, you can possibly get a PC build going for that price, and upgrade it as you go!
My most recent pickup (like last week) for example was for $40, and came with an 1155 motherboard, an i5-3450, 1x8GB DDR3, and a Radeon HD 7770. I threw it into a case that I got for free and cleaned up (Antec Nine Hundred) and added some drives, had myself a little budget gaming PC. I ended up picking up a ~$50USD RX 460 off of eBay for a little more performance.
There's definitely deals out there, so good luck with your search!
i know how you feel i have saved up for three years and i got mine toady!

I'm glad I came across this video. I have a tech magnet pc on the way, it's an Intel core i7 3.25ghz, 16gb ram, and a 2tb hard drive. I'm hoping this runs good. I went with the 24inch monitor. Hoping I don't have to sacrifice graphics setting, so we will see.
Hi! I'm currently looking at the same one! How do you like it? How does it run? Please let me know! Thank you so much!
It runs great! Once I got it all ironed out and setup to my liking, it's awesome.
@@sinist3rfpv672 thank you! I just went ahead and bought it!
I was hoping someone commented. I am completely clueless when it comes to computers and my 11 year old son is in to gaming. I don't have the knowledge or time to build one. I have a tech magnet on my Amazon cart. He is a beginner. He doesn't have to have the top of the line I just want it to work. Thanks guys!
Is it good I’m getting the same one
Hey toasty boys can u do a review on the nzxt streaming pc series. I wanna know if it’s fine to go cheap or pay a bit more.
And I just want like a full review of the entire streaming pc series.
Seller has different options on offer. For a version with gt 1030/ RX 550 you need to pay $30 more, another $30 to replace 20 inch with 22 .
worth it
I have a 13 yr old son who wants a gaming pc and I’m not trying to spend thousands we don’t have it, so I very much appreciate these reviews
thats a monster of a knife
Yay for Amazon buys 😎😅
does it come with all the cords and stuff?
i mean could you buy this then upgrade it later without issues?
I spent 170$ on all my setup and I have 270-290 fps at valorant, 144fps at fortnite and 90fps at gta v
Edit: I have i5-6500, 8gb ram and gtx 550ti, all components are from an office pc, and the graphic card I bought it for 25$.
I got the same exact one but it did not come with disc tray button how do i put discs in?
i have this same pc, wanted to get something cheap to see if i would like pc gaming, my packaging was different but same thing, my question is can i add better stuff to it to make it faster and better graphics? its not horrible but i want to add to it to make it better
How wide is the mousepad?
Thank you for doing benchmarks on valorant, please in the future if you guys do budget PC benchmark than please include valorant
9:45 Good god , 94°C on the GPU 💥 how did it NOT fry itself already !?? 🤣🤣🤣
I’m finna build a 500 dollar setup. But this includes my desk and chair too!
What are those temps? its really heating up!
Absolute beast nice
too funny I just bought one of these used(without the acrylic) with an I5 8500(Not T) and no GPU for 100 dollars.
Great formfactor, not bad desktop performance, has NVME slot, BUT the PSU is non upgradable and has no external GPU power ability. With the 8500 your better off without the gt730 and either go to the 1030 or stick with UHD 630 graphics. it's essentially the Dell Optiplex 3060. I may throw a rx 6400 in to see what it will do, but it's PCIE Gen 3
So I already have the hp pavilion laptop, but it sounds like a jet engine. You got any tips?
Me, watching all the budget $500 PC builds, while not having $500: "Hmm, I see. That would be a very good build to have."
same
looking for a new cheap gaming setup, found this. should I buy it?
Them Herrasing amazing like they can do better 👏
where can get a front RGB front panel for my optiplex?
I was looking at the sky tech shadow 3.0 desktop and it looks like a good pc for a starter. I was wondering if you guys could look at it👍🏾👍🏾
I wanna see you put a better graphics card in that pc!
Do you guys know where to get the front RGB plate?
How did you guys get it to work. mine says Hard drive not found or optical drive not found with 3 options. I need your help turning it on or setting it up
Do the all the parts come with the pc? Pls tell me
Okay so i was just looking at this pc for doing just minecraft and roblox which it looks like it might run that pretty well for like a starter pc
My boyfriend got me one and I was wondering if u guys have the two screen mtg set up.
The packaging is good, but the overall product it's strange to buy for this price ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
P.S. Great review!
St
That is what you get for that price. They have a version with rx-550 which is $550 (+$30 ) and it is probably much more "gamier" than this one.
Lmfao you're paying 90% for the quality of the box and 10 for the product itself.
@@Kareemle you can’t get any better than this for that price giving a computer, monitor, and peripherals. It won’t happen
500 dollars for a full setup and a pc is just too low tbh
Im getting this for my birthday
To think I've been playing Dota 2 without the upgrades and just turn out didn't explode yet 😂
I open boxes like that using a small hobby knife. But some like to use a sword.
9:32 what was that noise, pls explain.
What's better to use wifi or wired
That link for the build goes to a single Optiplex PC
That valorant whiff though
Fully semi-HD
What about the airflow
Question, would this be a great starter pc and then I can upgrade the GPU at a later point when I get the money and/or cpu also upgrade the Ram. I’m trying to find a good gaming setup and this looks perfect if I upgrade it at a later date when I get the money. Would that work or would it not?
No
Lol
Any optiplex system when a decent i3 or i5 and slap a 730 on it and you could add low profile gou later on!!!
Around 200 if you find a used optiplex and a decent graphics card
Is veno scorp a good place to buy a pc
does the asus tuf b660m plus support coolermaster hyper 212
I have my gaming PC, keyboard/mouse, and gaming monitor all in my cart. Just have to go to the bank.
Thank You for the review I asked for now I'm going to buy it but should I replace the gt 730 with rx 550?
buy a rx 6400
For the whole setup that's a good price but might as well get a next gen console
Bro that's better than my $1800 laptop
Can y'all hook up a consle to a PC monitor
is this VR ready
Hey I’m thinking about getting this pc before Christmas, can you please tell me if there is a Ethernet cable Port, please comment back asap I don’t want to get the wrong one
For How will that computer last for?
You guys look kind.
Is it worth purchasing though cause I really just want a pc for League of legends, Apex legends, that's it.
Can it run dmc5 from steam?
Anybody know if/where i can jiat buy that funky RGB panel for this model dell?
Try to upgrade the graphics card to a gtx 1660 super and upgrade the ram
I feel like some people buy these without looking at the specs, just hoping that it 'has a 3090'
Don’t need a computer for anything other than casual sims and Roblox playing, maybe some terraria and Minecraft 😭 so I think this will be fine for me! Thanks for the review
Can I give buys a video idea!? Would it be possible to play games off a floppy disk. Or download modern games on them? I wonder
Hi there
Can you guys could do a vedio about
HOW TO FIND AN APU PROCESSOR ON INTEL
How do u remove the fan??
No way, i got that exactly same mouse in this video, i got it for like 15$, its no the best mouse but at least it got a button that changes the dpi, it was great, totally worth my 15$.
Yo did you guys need an vga to dvi converter?
they way the pc looks reminds me of when people put weird rims and mufflers on cars like 10 year old hondas
