That second crimp you made on the wire is supposed to hold the skinny end up the rubber gasket. Makes putting them in a little easier then jamming them in
I was removing the rear bumper from my car and found out the backup camera wire doesn't run through a pin plug, it's a single wire fished all the way to the cockpit. So, I had to cut it. Inside it has 5 different wires, thankfully color coded. So I need to make something like this when I reinstall my bumper back.
Could you please provide the terminal you used to connect the wire to the housing connector? I have been looking for what type and can't find it anywhere. It appears to be the same one you are using.
@@RezyNWorX thank you for reaponse, but I'm actually looking for the terminal connector that is crimped onto the wire like you did at 1:18 in the video. I tried a 2.8mm spade terminal but it was too small. I am unable to find the terminal, but it appears to be the one you are using here. It is to insert into the connector
Thank you for walking us through the process.😊

@@mlee81 these come with the kit
I guess they are called pin headers. You can get them an amazon but you have to know the size they are going into and if its male or female.
Any possibility you can link where you got everything from?
I was gonna ask the same question but I guess that’s not important. I’m going to look at Weatherpack.
