Always great watching a master ,I think its great how low key he is ,as not to film in American spots on film ,I live in mass and we cannot fish w live herring anymore...recreationally for striped bass ,its been a tough year for me to get to the right spots at the right tides and match the hatch, its also funny dealing with these seals ,some are relentless ,sneaky bumping your lines, but this week looks good to fish first light bite, I love watching Larry so many tips and you remind me of my uncle Dean Curtis ,a great man ,loved watching Larry but ,a huge bluefin man along w big muskies, he is with me every slippery rock I step on ,I will do the work to catch "the one" 🙏 🇬🇧 🇺🇸 🇮🇹.....🇮🇪

Nice, I didn't think of the clear blades making noise, but not being seen. What a great idea. I've got to try some of them this spring.

Northern Pike are my primary target fish. Everything else is a plus, but Northerns are what I like. #4 Mepps or Vibrex Blue Fox with a single 3/0 Gamakatsu (octopus) hook lets me fish the weeds without snagging the weeds. I might try the #5 this year.

@@MakeLure Vaughn sure is lucky to have a Poppy like that............sorta rare deal to pass on passion/dedication and at the same time a little inspiration. Perhaps nowadays in particular; the wind blows where it pleases and such is the spirit it is said...............
I hope Vaughn eventually appreciates everything special and sorta sacred in years down the road in the backwash of time spent with his Poppy. Sacred places and stomping grounds inpaticular...........guarded next to the very soul and never sold out at any price.
What a great thing for a kiddo to learn in the video........think outside the box and so many potential keyholes with molds and the makelure mindset. Jewelry for gifts in ear rings or necklaces for Mom and Grandma; Vaughn?
