In this captivating video, I will thoroughly explain and demonstrate how to create a stunning urban landscape step by step. You don't need to be a professional-I'll guide you through each stage, from selecting materials to the final touches. 🏙️
We will use references from Google Maps for inspiration, allowing you to accurately capture the beauty of Mexican architecture on paper. I will teach you about perspective techniques, the play of light and shadow, and how to create depth and atmosphere in your artwork. Together, we'll create a unique urban landscape that will delight the eye and inspire new creative ventures! 🎨
📍 Mexico City, 459 Aluminio Street
    Materials used in the video:
📌 Paper: SM*LT 100% cotton, A3 format, 300gsm (you can use any watercolor paper. You can also make this drawing in a sketchbook with paper of any density, but if it’s something like Art Creation Talens and similar, don’t use too much water and don’t make too many movements on the paper)
    📌 Watercolors: Mijello Mission Gold (543, 521, 523, 568, 622, 574, 624, 565, 581, 549, 584, 616, 715 Rembrandt), you can use any other watercolors, preferably monopigment; the following colors will be needed:
    Lemon Yellow
    Warm Yellow
    Yellow Ochre
    Autumn Orange
    Deep Red
    Purple
    Red-Brown
    Light Ultramarine
    Cobalt Blue
    Bamboo Green
    Cobalt Green
Neutral Tint or Gray, Lamp Black
(More about selecting paints can be found here: [underthebrush....])
📌 Mechanical Pencil: Faber Castel with 2B lead (you can use any pencil that is not too hard or too soft)
📌 Eraser: or kneaded eraser, moldable (preferably soft)
📌 Liner: Sakura Pigma Micron size 02 (use the thinnest one you have from any brand, but make sure it is waterproof. It should NOT be water-soluble)
📌 Brushes: I used DaVinci and Escoda brushes, but you can use any good brushes of three sizes-a large one for big areas if you are drawing on a large format, a medium one for detailing, and a super fine one for details
🎁 If you have any questions about the materials or the process, feel free to ask them in the comments or under this video on my Telegram channel. Also, feel free to share your creative successes there.
