These traffic interactions are so fun. Sometime ago me and my dad, who are both car enthusiasts drove passed this real nice Corvette C7 on the highway. I pulled down the window, put my hand out there and gave him a thumbs up. He sped up to align with us, we looked at each other and he was smiling like a little kid, appreciating the compliment. Then he sped up to show us the power of that thing and it made me smile. It's also a nice thing to know that you made someone else smile, who knows how his day was like. Maybe he really needed that.

Something that is harmless, takes no time at all to do, and puts a huge smile on everyone involved. You love to see it.
Well it's not completely harmless. Motorcycles are incredibly dangerous and he did put curiosity into that kid's mind which I don't think is a good thing. But it's a wholesome moment nonetheless and I can't fault the guy for it.

@@iannovak5223 I don't think they should. You got kids out here on dirtbikes and motorbikes that operate it as easy as they walk. Hell, just driving to work earlier today, there were 3 kids (looked about10-14) that were driving a golf caddy on the sidewalk with their adult in the backseat. It's good to broaden the horizons of anyone, assuming those horizons are not the obvious avoiders (drugs for example)

Something similar - back in the Marine Corps, we were convoyed up going down the state highway heading back from a field exersize, humvees being slow, you'd see people recording and eyeballing us all wearing kit, helmets, flacks, and all. One mom and her kid where driving by and me in passenger gave them a wave, and the mom threw the biggest thumbs up. When I have the opportunity with my own kid, if I spot a train I'll pull over so the conductor can give the horn a blast for him. Little things like that mean a lot to people.
