@@mtshotz Ask any college coach in the country. That’s been the stereotype for years. Florida is a football state with athletes trying to get by on athleticism in basketball. There’s been a lack of quality coaching for a long time at the grassroots level. These prep schools with a ton of imported talent don’t count. Most pockets of the south are like this. It’s football country. It might be slowly changing and it’s a stereotype not a 100% fact, but the game is taught differently through the east coast and Midwest.
@@tarpparty i can say that. football is definitely where a lot of the cats out here tryna make it but we also got a lot of pure raw basketball talent that for sure needs the right coaching and direction. i got friends who DESERVED the ride or at least the opportunity who are STILL tryna find a way and putting in more work each day mentally and physically. there’s talent everywhere, it’s just about who wants it more.
