- I thought you'd like some Friday floristry to inspire your weekend flowers, so here I put a gorgeous mix into my trusty old French water cooler pot with a little music and voila! So just sit back and enjoy this creation as it takes shape.
Can you identify the flower and foliage varieties? There are at least ten for you to identify. Pop the varieties you spot in the comments and we'll see how many we get.
A fun thing to do over the weekend is to head out into your garden and see if you have some flowers and foliage to cut. We here at the Common Farm Flowers channel call that a #30stemchallenge. Enjoy! And I hope you like the music, it's Josef Suk Serenade Op 6 xxx

Even your "before " bucket was glorious!!❤❤
lol - thank you x
This was stunning...the colored wall, the vessel you chose, the flowers, the music....pure artistry.
thank you so much x
Dear Georgie, you are the most stunning florist I have ever seen. And the bouquet against the peachy wall is breathtaking!!!
thank you so much x
I love watching the process in real time rather than sped up, as some you tubers do. It is so meditative. Thanks.
thank you x
Another stunning creation Georgie.
Thanks so much 😊 x
Beautiful!
thank you x
Amaranth, 9 bark, hydrangea paniculata, anemone, many astounding dahlias, roses, fountain grass and pineapple mint (don't see this much around where I live), those dangling white bell-like flowers must be a bulb? My son is getting married in September and your color scheme is magnifique! Thank you for pulling me out of my summer slump. Back to the garden....
you're welcome - no anemone or, oddly, dahlias in this piece but your list is good if not quite totally there xxx
I live in Vancouver Canada and have recently discovered your site. What a treat! I am busy watching all your videos, not only for the valuable informtion, but also as pure enjoyment. They are so uplifting and such a welcome change from the craziness going on in the world. Thank you!

Dear Georgie just love your channel and the amazing flower arrangements you do. Your studio will be wonderful to , just love the colour you painted it.
thank you x
Gorgeous!! ❤
thank you x
The beautiful music accompanying an artist at work was inspiring. I have just ordered a cd of the music played. What an education, thank you.
Wow, thank you! x
Beautiful and abundant, as always.
thank you x
Oh I love this so much - when it stops raining I’m going to go out and cut myself something very similar. Zoe
Go for it Zoe x
Another Georgieous Gorgeous arrangement la grandeur automnale à son meilleur ❤
thank you Tina - though it feels early to feel so autumnal doesn't it x
Magically beautiful!
thank you x
You make it look so easy Georgie , absolutely stunning display 🎉❤
lol - I've certainly put in my 10,000 hours x
There are zinnias, ninebark, amaranth, roses, maybe bluebeard, cosmos, hydrangea, agapanthe maybe. Stunning arrangement!
seven out of ten - very good x
Exquisite as always, Georgie you are a genius at work.
I'm hoping its dry tomorrow morning we've had non stop rain. I'm making a posy all from my garden for the Church flowers 🤞🏼
have a lovely time - here it's pouring with rain - hope not so much with you x
So Very inspiring, Georgie. I have to go to the chiller shed today to sort through my remaining peonies for an order going out tomorrow.....and I am tired. But watching this has reinvigorated me to find a few more blush peonies to make an arrangement from some alder branches, lilac seed heads and peonies.
Wonderful! x
Love love love that. Thankyou
you're very welcome x
So stunningly beautiful, Georgie
@@victoriahewitt-coleman1112 Thankyou - will you have a go this weekend too?
I love your outdoor flower arranging setup...if you don't like turning your back to the camera you can always get a lazy susan to move your arrangement around to view all sides. Love, love, love your flower arrangements!
yes a lazy Susan would be good except for example this piece is made for a particular spot for a particular client and so it needs a front and a back so I make it looking at it so I see the angle the people who will look at it will see - so would still not be great with a lazy Susan - but it would be fun to have a play with one x
Absolutely stunning, you are so talented
Thank you so much! x
I'm not always sure where you're going with each stem and I'm never quite right, but your arrangements also turn out stunning as this one, thank you 😊
Thank you! 😊 x
I find it so relaxing and inspiring to watch you making these glorious bouquets, Georgie. And I have started incorporating mint and herbs in the little bouquets from my garden now.
excellent - herbs so good in floristry x
Hello Georgie your arrangement is absolutely beautiful 💐
thank you x
A perfect way to start a Saturday morning.. lovely background, soothing instrumental music, watching you deftly arranging a beautiful selection of flowers. Can watch it again and again. Thanks Georgie!🙂❤️
glad you enjoyed it x
Gorgeous as always. 👍
Thank you! 😊 x
So beautiful!
Amaranth
Hydrangea
Ninebark
Zinnia
Roses
Agapanthus
Cosmos
Not sure which grass that is
I couldn’t tell what the variegated foliage is
Another filler but I’m not sure what, basil of some sort?
Fun to watch you construct the arrangement and to guess the ingredients!
Just saw the ending where you showed the pineapple mint that I couldn’t see!
brilliant - excellent list! x
Magnifique Georgie 💋🍂🍃🌿🥀🌼🌸🍁🍂💚🧡🤎💛🩷🤍
Merci Esther x
Love the colours. Gorgeous arrangement.❤
Thank you so much! x
Lovely arrangement. And like you said - not boring and lots to look at. I enjoy your sense of humour Georgie - the flourish with the swishy grasses ( if that's what they are). Had to watch it twice. Wondering what is the name of the apricot rose is, please? It looked quite 'glowy' in the arrangement. Be a good one to add to my garden. Best wishes.
I think you mean Port Sunlight rose x
Thank you. I will look it up.
Gorgeous, looks like a painting!
thank you x
Wow. So beautiful. As always.
thank you x
Sometimes when you show a bucket of what you are going to be using, I think "oh oh, it will look like the dogs dinner".....but once again, as always it turned out FABULOUS. Well done!!
lol - I'm glad it doesn't look like a dog's dinner xxx
love it
thank you x
Such ease of artistry from your very practiced hands. You make it look easy. Gorgeous.
Thank you so much 😊
Bravo, maestro!
grazie x
Wedding colors? Yes! I would, too! Thanks for this!
You're so welcome! X
Gorgeous! I wasn’t sure I liked the colours of the vase but what you created was perfect . The greenery picked up the green in the vase & the flowers picked up the peachy beige colour ......perfection!
Thanks so much 😊 x
Hi lovely Georgie, wow!! this arrangement is stunning and especially against the color and texture of the wall. Very country style which a absolutely love! the vase compliments the flowers and foliage beautifully! Thank you sharing your amazing floristry talents with us. Have a wonderful weekend
Thanks so much! 😊 x
17:11 Cosmos flowers are so simple yet amazing in your bouquets. Lovely to watch as you make them stand out against the others. Pineapple and fruit salad sage also smell amazing, some in my garden at home in Australia. Thank you, Georgie.😊
you're so welcome x
Georgie, love your video, love the music! And I love that green heavy pot with such a history. I wonder, what is the rose you used? I love it, & good to see it's fine for a vase/cut flower. It's something Graham Austin but I don't know which. Can you please tell me? 🫶
It’s a David Austen called Jude the Obscure x
@@theflowerfarmer thank you so much!🌺
Beautiful..
Thank you. Please compose an arrangement to Music again.
What is the Paint colour of you wall.
To use one of your words, stunning. S🎉
glad you like the music - the colour is from Rose of Jericho - they have lots of good earthy colours to choose from x
Super duper gorgeous bouquet Georgie!! Loved all the flowers you used. What feed would you recommend for Dahlias because I believe it has to be low nitrogen? Xxxx
you can give dahlias nitrogen to encourage strong stems and healthy leaves - for lots of flowers you need a potash rich feed - make your own with comfrey - I like seaweed solution x
@@theflowerfarmer thanks so much for the advice Georgie 🙏
😍🌼👍
Love the new studio and the wall colour. The arrangement is fab. Really don't like the music, I'd much rather hear you!!!
I hope you can mute it - I'm not going to talk and talk and talk because otherwise nobody would need to book places on my paid demos and workshops - xxx
@@theflowerfarmer hi, I understand, I was just thinking of along the lines of an odd comment like' this is dahlia Linda's Baby. I do try and buy you coffees🙂
Beautiful arrangement. Could you explain the thinking behind not cutting some of the stems? Most you did but a few you did not even on some of the same flowers. Is there a reason for this? Love the new studio walls also
the woodier the stem the more likely I am to cut - I'm trying to set a good example - but the truth is I had cut these flowers from the field not an hour or two before so they didn't really need it x
Georgie I think I know all the stems in this except the type of rose (I’m expecting a David Austin) and I don’t know that white bulb flower!! Please tell us!!!
Physocarpus, Cosmo (possibly purity), pineapple mint, chocolate mint, miscanthus grass, hot biscuits amaranth, zinnia (looks a lot like florets new line), Oklahoma zinnia, limelight hydrangea.
and agapanthus x
Love your work . But can’t stand the dreadful/ awful background music kind of put off enjoying the video tbh sorry
Sorry about that - most people love it - hope you can mute it for the duration so you can still enjoy the creation x
@@theflowerfarmersorry wasn’t been rude love your work ❤
Gorgeous!! ❤
thank you x
