I admire you’re thoroughness and craftsmanship.
Jamie, this was a really interesting, informative and relaxing video.
Thanks for taking the time to record and upload it.

Hey thanks Joe ! Nice to hear from you
I hope this gets lots of views. It really is well done.
Have a good one.
Hey Jamie, I am enjoying your video,
but what brand is this guitar ?
Thanks for the information, I am watching several videos on removing backs before I try my first one. I replaced a front that was damaged in a fire. (Heat, smoke, water: turned it into a 5 piece curly mess) The function is great, but the look, not my best work :) This will be better I am sure.
I usually make a three legged bridge for that kind of guitar, seems three legs increase the vibrations down to the top of the guitar.
Great t-shirt! I didn't know that they had the Goodies over the pond
This show was on Canadian TV in the '70's . I loved it .Thanks for watching !
@@Barringtonjohnbruce Nice one. All the best mate
heat the glue up to 70 degrees celcius next time, and you can take the back of without cracking the wood.
Have you noticed a lot of luthiers do not like heating the joints? You certainly can damage the finish... but I too prefer a bit of heat. However, I am here to learn, and I have learned at least 3 tricks from this video.
@rringtonjohnbruce is that a old Harmony kay or Silvertone? looks like one of those.
I think you are on the right page. It has to be one of those brands but I could not Identify it. I just worked on a kay the other day in fact
I should have finished the video before asking what make guitar it is..
😄 I hope someone will identify it before long...
Where does one find the magnifying glasses worn?...thanks
