The first generation of w202 1993 and 1996 are weaker and the front door column and the facelift 1996 to 2000 is perforced at front door coloum. The facelift i think is changed on the look as every car but they have fixed the issues.

Should have included the W-201 in the video. As a W-201 Diesel 190-D owner I'd have loved to see its performance.
Laughed at how each new generation gained massive weight. Hard to imagine that W-123 and W-124 were just about 1050 kg.
