I would love to see a video where you work with a "flat" item like a plate, doily, or coaster. Something that has less dimension than candles, cups, and sculptures.

Being able to see your camera view at the same time as you and the BTS was so helpful!!! Awesome video, thank you!

terrific video. I've just doe a major British hamper photoshoot on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I built the set in an empty officering a desk covered with quartz-looking floor tiles ($90) and a wallpapered wood panel wall. Lighting I used the Amaran 300c. I also shot in RAW square mode as it was for the web. the quality was insane.

"So you really need to understand who you're selling to." Simple but great line. My Etsy items are a bit pricey for the average Etsy buyer. I need to attract those Bloomingdales' shoppers. Thanks for the tips.

YES! So, if your products are more high-end, you need to include props and a setting that support that high-end feeling to attract the right person!

Wow, I had no idea how much thought goes into taking a product photo. Thank you for sharing your knowledge! I will definitely use your tips in the future.

I make purses & blue jean tote bags. How would I style photos for this type of product? Your videos are really great! I’ve learned a lot! Thanks!

How does your customer use them? How do they style them with clothing and accessories? What are they putting in the bags? Go through the motions of a buyer's day to day with your product. That should generate some inspo!

Thanks for the tips. I do believe in the first setup the stem on the pipe is upside down. My late husband made pipes and I have been to numerous pipe shows

😂😂 I’m dead! 🤦🏼‍♀️ I was like, “why does it looks so funny?!!!” 🤣 it didn’t even register to me that I attached it upside down! Talk about relevancy… 🤣 Well, I learned something new today! THANK YOU, love!

I noticed that you used black mattes or reflectors in this video...is it okay to use a simple black matte board from craft store?
I love your work and your expertise tips!❤

Thank you love! I am glad you are enjoying the videos! This is called flagging, when we block light. Also, absorbing light! You can use black foam board from any store! It works great! That is mainly what I use!

What app did you use, I didn't notice if you had an Android or iPhone, I have an Android and I'd love an app that let's me change the f-stop and has micro focus mode if possible, 'cause I make and sell jewelry with my handmade glass beads. Lots of reflections, needs lots of light, needs a wide-ish depth if field while also being taken in macro mode. My photos are so hard to get right with my phone and I have to do a lot of exposure, balance, and contrast editing after but would like it to be simpler 'cause each item takes so long, and 7-8 individual listing images for Etsy gets really time consuming. Sorry for the run-on sentences. ❤️
