Tiger poaching in traditional way is still going on in Maharashtra and you can find news related to this aat least once in six months.

My grandfather is a retired army personnel. When a bear came in our field he ran after him and was beating him with stick and he had a brave dog he was following my grand father. But then dog came in front of bear so bear turned backwards towards my grandfather and bite on his leg . Dog saved my grand father and bear ran away. Even hand could pass from the area bitten by bear . He was immediately taken to hospital by my father and he has scars till now after 19 years
