So glad he started doing this. Now I have someone besides tim henson to try and learn.
Man I envy you I don't have the patience to learn an instrument the right way with theory/techniques /reading/writing/etc. Only way I could even try to do this is by just copying him in slow motion a few dozen times and gradually speeding up it worked on piano but I'm not so confident I could do it with guitar too much of a physical aspect in the actual techniques that just takes time I imagine.
@@MrDJAK777 I'm nowhere near understanding the theory! That's beyond me currently. But I can sure mirror people Haha
@@555salt lol I only have the basic cords and a minor pentatonic scale and some nirvana songs but idk how to get to this level where u can play how u want like fast but smooth sounding
@@JustM4Rii oh make no mistake, when i play it it will not be sounding at all smooth hahaha
Check out Ichika Nito!
It just started out as a random riff on his instagram and now it’s now a full track. Man, I love progressive metal bands that gives this innovation.
I feel like this version feels like, thicker and deeper than the album version, I wish it sounded like this.
You have the most magical right hand I have ever seen.
Thats what she said.
Tosin Abasi that’s all I have to say
Yeah the speed up is top 👌
@@MarioGarcia-tr4ev this one isn't speed up
@@condemnedcheese7207 he distorted reality itself to make it seem realistic
I need 10 hours extended of this
At first I was a fan of manuel
Now I'm a fan of unprocessed band ✌
seen this live at the trinity centre bristol supporting polyphia, Unprocessed were SICK!!! Hadn't really listened to them before the show and now i'll be a lifetime FAN. FACT.
Sonic: I'm speed
Manuel: Hold my guitar
@Ardi 08 y'all said the same about clown right? Lol, he's literally did a live on instagram of clown. This makes you a fucking looser who has to probably speed up smoke on the water 10 times. I bet your mom ain't proud of you girl. Stop acting like a bitch.
Hold my pro tools software and amp plug ins
@Aditya Rahardian the thing that actually matters is that it sounds good.
@Aditya Rahardian He played it on live.
@@ramsasesskorsalinas4528 so did Milli Vanilli whats your point.
who’s here after it came out

Everyone who sees your comment
@@barneysgamertag6956 nice
Not me, I watched it before they recorded it
@@iBoss818 | so did i, i’m not saying who found it after it came out, just who’s watching it after
it's so fucking hard. It's those types of riffs that if you stop practicing consistently even after being able to play it, you wouldn't be able to perform the riff smoothly. Manuel is the GOAT
I’ve seen this so many times and I can’t tell if he’s actually playing it or he’s simply a magician with a guitar....
It’s so hard to describe this honestly! It’s so...mystical? I guess. . .
Just amazed....can't believe my eyes and my ears
you should have heard it live....
This riff is absolutely amazing, it sounds so fucking good
This is one of my ultimate goals on guitar 🎸
I dont know how to call that stuff but that little tone change at 0:17 is mental
🇭🇺One of the most beautiful song I ever heard. We need full song pls.🤟👌🇭🇺
Dude chill i can only get this hard !
I don't know if I could ever play that stuff at that speed... its insanely fast! I have Been one day practicing that stuff and Im struggling with 75% Insane
75%? Im still struggling to understand how?? 😂 Please make a tutorial!!
I can't even fathom as to how one comes to creating music like this. Amazing!
Easy.
Practice everything slow refining it.
Then speed it up.
When learning theory or other "rules" refer to them as guidelines because there's literally no rules in art or music.
It's based upon going with what you feel and not forcing anything. Let whatever happen naturally happen.
@@TheLemonKiller that's true but honestly creating music after a point is you either have the talent or you don't,otherwise lot of guitarists would've made it very big.
0:06 - 0:08 the chord progression is really beautiful, and I was expecting it to go to 1 but instead back to 6 lol. Awesome song though!
So insane that this dude exists
happy that the whole song is out, great video
I honestly now don't care if it's sped up (either video or audio) it still sounds phenomenal
Right, great composer and he plays so well.
But i guess Manuel should tell the true (about our doubt of "speed up") to the fans (i'm one of thoses), in a view to be more humble. Until now, there's this fucking doubt and it won't help his career (Manuel you get officially a yellow card, soccer's fan).
@@morganmusic1504 Exactly, I completely agree mate
@@morganmusic1504 he already responded to all this saying that some of his Instagram videos have pre recorded audio, but never sped up. I saw myself Manuel playing this song live 2 months ago, there's a video of it if you search :) he is legit
That candle in the background appears to be burning normally. I doubt the rest of the video is sped up and the candle along with the glow is digitally altered to appear normal. Feels just like too much effort.
Live does not sound close!
Iam sorry to hurt all the fans.
I like your funny hands magic man
This needs to be a minute longer!
New ringtone
GOD DAMN! Thats map weathering quarantine energy right there
Why is this so underradet🥺
This is absolutely Godlike!

UFC WALKOUT MUSIC 🥶🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dude, those tapped harmonics at the beginning
Beautiful.
Purchased ! I needed to work on great licks like these ;)
Lick these
oh that was beautiful
So pure
Here we are: a non speed up VIDEO of Dead Rose without apparent edit on the AUDIO, and it's still way above the guitar level of all those youtubers out there.
Manuel Gardner Ibanez is the best!
Beautiful
The battle with the goat
I am obsessed ✨
Very nice mate. Gonna give this a go.
Одно из лучших соло которые я слышал ❤
You´re amazing ! Genius
Broooo, I'm slack'in!
Ahh i need an electric guitar now😩
Damn. I said Rain was the best,,but this might have beat it. Well done

Amazing
Amazing!
Make a loop from this! 💥
Sounds just as good live.. trust me! Beautiful.
Amazing you guys are sooo good
Cool editing
Damn how can this sound so soft and still so hart hitting
You guys are inspiring 🔥
Recording software and redubs man
@@brutalbasspromaybe you can explain something about the live version of clown that he played on instagram? And he played this countless no. of times, even at NAMM, he was playing with same speed and accuracy. Also, Tosin Abassi has an instagram page of his live NAMM playing.
@@an_38kitkashyap im happy for him that he figured some things out, have you seen his video where his guitar isn't even plugged in though? How does he do that since we're speaking of old ass videos?
@@brutalbasspro he did do some of those and he himself agrees. And if you say "figured out something new", lol, one of his videos of him playing one of Abassi's guitar is in Tosin's Instagram. Also, Tim Henson did a collab with him. Say whatever you want, but you can't deny the fact that he's got mad chops.
Compression does the trick, it brings up the tapped harmonics and tames the hard hits of his strumming, but he seems to be doing most of the balance with his hands.
This is what I want to hear, replayed this so many times. ETA on new album?
Like your playing and your outro even more 😅
This sounds like something in the OST of Ghost in Shell S.A.C.
That is fucking beautiful man..
F-ing incredible!
thats just beautiful
You guys have to make this a full song
it is a full song. but the only released one is live. its coming up in their new album
which they are currently mixing and mastering
@@Avanchy thnx bud didn't knew that
Lullaby (0.75 speed)
Sure, but have you also sped it up......?
@@slipknot95maggot bro what does that mean? i heard it everywhere and even if the research it, i still cant find results
I’m almost finished learning it but one question during the end tapping part, are you hitting the 5th string on the 9th fret
Idc if it’s sped up as long as it’s sound beautiful.
its not, it is pitched up with a whammy
omgnuub it’s 100% sped up
@@tylerbliss9009 are u ok cause it legit not funny anymore
Eh too be honest it’s sounds like he’s using some pitch effect or pitch pedal
it's obviously sped up. look at his clothes near his collar (clothes doesnt do that lol) and im not hating this guy btw and i love his clown so much... But it is sped up and it's the truth.
This tapping even better than Shawn Lane's one and that's absolutely fucking ridiculous
not saying this is sped up but imagine being so skilled that you can trick your audience thinking it was sped up
It is.
well unfortunately it is sped up.
some of them are sped up lol
Amazing that everyone who responded was so wrong. :)
Big fan bro
Amazing man!
check the candle in the background as the video starts. It's not sped up
you never wrote this comment, i never saw this video, please mercy
His wiggling shirt already tells me it's being played real time, idk about the others. But one thing's for sure is that he will prove the world wrong about him faking his playing if he play these live, like in NAMM.
@@MarkyPaligs he already played live i think in many occasions
@@Amrani964 what I meant by "these" was these ones he plays on his socials that makes people think it's being faked.
@@MarkyPaligs he played deadrose live.
Could someone Tell me the exact model of this guitar? It is absolutely gorgeous.
Fantástico
lmao never forget that Mike Dawes tried to discredit your skill. :D
When did that happen?
Didn't except such behaviour from a experienced person like mike
Because mike can actually play his stuff live
When? Where can I find that?

@@Thomas-zu5il Thank you hommie appreciate it :)
I’ve been going down a rabbit hole with theses guys and need something cleared up-do they claim these are recorded live and without editing? These new players fucking rock and are on a different level-but there’s a slickness there that might imply their editing/recording skills are near their guitar skills. Legit trying to figure what sounds unnatural-it’s like audio uncanny valley. All said with love and respect.
It seems to be some of both. Some of the new progressive or whatever you want to call it players have admitted to fixing their work up in post but most of the skill is legit and despite maybe not getting it to sound 100% perfect you can, for example get the tapping harmonics to sound the way that they do in the video with a little practice, which is what threw me off at first
hands don't glitch like that
like what? Timestamp
@@TheBentFilms Yeah, look 0:00 - 0:47
NekoTheCat I don’t think the video is sped up. But I do suspect the guitar track that we hear is sped up which is why it’s so clean.
@@TheBentFilms ==I'm just joking I think the track may not be sped up but the audio possibly was modified to cover the little flaw may happen while playing
Dana Wiltsie most probably not sped up but edited, like you would do for any studio recording. Also he uses an octaver, hence the slightly unnatural sound. All intentional
idk bro, that part around 0:27 where he goes higher it don't sound right, everything else was awesome tho
Henson is a god, but this boy is Zeus!
I don't understand what he's doing for the beginning part... Is he tapping?
Tap harmonics
How is this possibly sped up??? Can no one see how slow the camera is panning? He’s obviously playing in real time and even if he’s not, the audio matches his playing (fingers) so y’all a bunch of fools.
@@Confusednael Bro, could you like. Totally direct me to all the movies you've shot bro.
🇭🇺This dude isn't human. He is too good at this. I started to learn the song names Abandoned but.....hufff. It is the hardest song I ever tryed to learn (sorry my bad english)🇭🇺
Dude dont learn this youll just end up with tendonitis XD ive played guitar for long time and this is not as cool as it looks like ... ;)
@@_Nitrous_ did you learned it?
@@justaboxonnickshead5353 not this particular riff but ive learn alot of similar technical stuff over the year (chon, intervals, unprocessed, polyphia to name a few ahah)

0:14 it's just guitar singing
holy shieeet
From 01 - 13 , is that tapp harmonic technique? *sorry begginer here. Whats the of that beautiful technique?
Yeah, he's doing tap harmonics, sometimes called artificial harmonics
Is he hitting one of the harmonics with his thumb when he switches chords. My hands look different when I play it
I think he’s hitting the top string harmonic with his thumb on the changes
ichika be looking different now, except for the hair.
I want an Unprocessed guitar tutorial
all of this guy's videos look sped up... Not saying they are, but they sure do look like it. Maybe this guy just plays like that? IDK
He might speed up some of his videos but I've seen him play live and it looks sped up live as well so maybe he just has some weird right hand skills idk
come on we all know he sped this up he can’t actually play that 😉 no but for real FUCK the haters love how original you guys are, putting that unprocessed behind the scenes for that whole music video. OG 🔥
