I just bought a pair of the new Forces end of last season, so why am I still watching this?

One of the best bindings in the game, especially with last seasons straps. I have two pairs. Only thing missing is canting, but that's a personal preference.

Not sure if it's still an issue on the newer cypresses, but on mine once you ride them a bit the female end of the sex bolts holding the highback "bed in" a bit and they get pretty hard to remove, I found that by threading in the screw a bit you could use that to tap out the bolt with the butt of the screw driver. You want it most of the way in so that you have a lot of thread to take the impacts.
It's possible to assemble these in a way where they will technically work but I think is incorrect where the highback is is up against the heel hoop on the face of it rather than the area around the forward lean adjuster. It's probably incorrect because the forward lean block doesn't touch the hoop.

    good presentation, well done

Adjusting the high back took a lot of effort as the crews were factory tight to a ridiculous level (on the 2022 version of this binding) and was hard not to strip them in the process.
Mounted these onto a channel board temporarily as I wanted to demo other boards that day. Since they have a padded base, the screw went longer into the channel, bumped the base/core minimally and marked the channel (i did not have that issue on 4x4 boards). Good bindings for a charging board, just a tad bit heavy compared to cartels/malavitas.
At least now I know which board goes on marketplace this season...

Needs more loctite. Whole binding should be blue when you're finished.

Any contest regarding the number of times “nipple” or “screw” is mentioned? Just to make sure we watch the entire video.

1:41 can you at some point explain why you are not a believer in matching highback angle with heeledge? Im kinda on the fence ob the subject

Unless you're running obscene angles you don't need it. Think about how you rock back in your boot in your stance, are you leveraging your weight to the outside of the boot towards the ratchets and need it to push into it? Nope, you're going straight back, so if you don't move it you get more reaction into the highback. This only changes when you go to something past 24 degrees that it matters and at that point you're basically skiing.

IMO it depends on how flat vs curved a highback is and how much positive angle you use. The cypress is more on the curved side so it isn't as important, but it can still be a nice to have if you run a carving stance.
