    Another simple and effective tutorial, thank you! Will try titanium white wash for fading as I don’t use an airbrush. Cheers from France

    For fading I sometime like zinc white over titanium white as the zinc is more transparent and less likely to create a 'frosted' look. Another trick to keep it from looking too stark is to mix a bit of the body color in with white.

    Very informative indeed, I have to get good oil paints. I also love the toilet paper roll as handle :-); why make it complicated?

    Im looking into a bachman n scale boxcar and its says sliding does it really mean that?
