16361/62 Ernakulam junction to Velakanni express is the only train that still running with ALCO in kerala left. kollam sengottai line is electrified but e loco are yet to take in charge there. so this train remains diesel in 2024.

oh bro. i am from kerala only 2 trains remains diesel in kerala . in kerala the route from Thiruvanathapuram to palakkad has completed electrification in 2005 . but i am lucky i experienced diesel loco till 2019 because my native place is kanhangad. in between manguluru and shoranur. manguluru shoranur route has completed electrification in 2017 and electric loco started to run from 2019

All other train running in electric loco.
Expect poorna Express. But poorna Express is running with WDP 4D pune . the only train that still running in ALCO loco in kerala . Is this train..
And ALCO locomotives are rare nowadays. Indian railway trying to removing them.. EMD will haul the remaining diesel route..
