Any change is engine performance? Reduced black smoke when you throttle hard?
I too have the same car with a bleeding EGR and when I throttle hard I can see some black smoke form it.
What exactly is the result u feel after cleaning it?

Yes black smoke reduced very much and also initial acceleration has increased
