It's possible because I was listening to an interview with one of the Gibb brothers and Nile Rodgers ... I think it was Nile who said perhaps if people had been nicer to him he would have lived longer .
But I think he realized he wouldn't have been able to have the kind of Neverland like he had back in California because of the climate .... they had that big swimming pool , and also his family , his nieces and nephews and many other friends nearby would come and hang out there .
He probably was sad thinking how much he would miss everybody if he lives so far away most of the time .

I remember one story that shocked the nation at the time and I heard he was so touched by it. In 2006 two Irish children were burned badly in a gas attack on their mom's car. Michael Jackson was here at the time and he heard about the story, and he talked nonstop about the children, cried for them, prayed for them and even wanted to meet them. But he wasn't able to meet them in person. And recently enough the two children got to take part a tribute portrait of Michael.
