I just listened to this. Whole way through. Lot of really good insights. The key I’ve found is consistency, keep on keeping on, “the work” never stops. I try to embrace that. It’s tiring sometimes. I need to decompress occasionally ans just listen to music or watch soccer highlights, but I know I have to come back to the work. This was a great reminder of that. The present moment. The mental commentaries argue what is happening because of anger and not the contrary.
Anger arises because we don't like and we don't want, what's happening.
Emotional reaction are much faster than mental reaction. So there is the sensory trigger or event, follows emotional reaction and along with this thinking relate to the event and the manifested emotion.

My problem with these (guru's) is they have become millionaires on "helping" others. Yes everyone has meaningless noise in their heads, but if your homeless, your voices drive you nuts because of your desperate situations. (potentially)
If your like this guy and at a young age, he wanted to end his life, but had the opportunity to go to university and had a backing family, his psychological conditions could be worked through.
Without that your alone, your poor, your homeless,.and your fighting another day. Your circumstances are terrible, etc etc...
A starving human being's reality of their current situation is different than a person that has unhappiness but is financially able to buy food, have healthcare, etc etc...
